Because the subject of this thread is the damn track, people at work or whatnot would probably like a one stop shop where they can see it.

I must be an idea because I can't figure out how that addresses the lack of official skins for use online.

Quite bland and unexciting. Breaks my heart to say it. This is the first DLC, free or not, which I must say I'm disappointed with. The only car that spark interest is the old Alfa 33. One star for it. The other star goes to Laguna Seca, very well done and a lot more challenging than any other sim/mod I've tried. Well done for that one. Half a star goes to it being a free update.
Unfortunately that's all from me. 2.5/5 stars for this one. The rest of the cars are very uninteresting and sorry to say but even the sounds have been recycled. I mean, they might be accurate to real life but they'll just move to the 'Recycle Bin' of sim racing in a few days, along with the other road lambos ferraris, etc. They just don't suit the spirit of AC. I would have expected at least one race car to fill the many voids of racing eras we have. Pretty much everything that is not GT2/3/4 or 90s DTM can't be raced together without manually crippling the field to equalise which is not fun.

Good job on the free DLC. Laguna Seca is most welcome addition to the rest of laser scanned tracks but the cars are a disappointment. Or should I say, not the actually work done on the cars but the choice of including exactly those. I've never ever driven something as uninteresting as that GTS limo. It doesn't belong to any racing field. Marketing was spot on. Actual product is meh.

On the side note, congratulations to @Aristotelis for the exceptional physics again. As I said, everything is great, just kinda not fitting together at the moment.

Disclaimer: Before I get bombarded with sticks and rocks and publicly beheaded - this is my own opinion and I'm entitled to it. If you read the post carefully, the work Kunos has done is exceptional as always. It just doesnt fit with AC... Plus it's been 6 months since last patch and nothing regarding physics/racing updated to be seen which is a shame. End of TL;DR

I'm not coming with rocks and/or sticks, I just think you mislabeled your post: 2,5/5 is your interest in this DLC. The DLC is at least 4.9/5...

 

My top picks in this pack are obviously laserscanned Laguna Seca, alfa romeo 33 and the lamborghini huracan performante.

but @iVG think of all the race cars we already have in the game that you can practice them at LS. Think of the porsche classics you can take there.

 

That is true, that's why I gave a full star for the Laguna Seca as it will work well with what we have so far. If I was solely judging this DLC by my interest in it it would get 1 out of 5 stars. I give 2 and a half because everything is very well made - Kunos quality as we say. Unfortunately you'll all be watching those cars going into obscurity once the DLC fever passes and everyone goes back to normal. The choices made behind this DLC are just... curious.. It very much looks like end of development to me.

It is a shame you aren't excited by the free DLC pack, @iVG...I agree you are absolutely entitled to your opinion, but I'm a little confused when you say this doesn't "fit with AC". I don't know the exact ratio - and Im too lazy to do it myself - but AC has always had a ton of street cars, Unless you're referring to something else. Still, I don't see anything in this pack that's like "WOW! Where did THAT come from?!" Again, I can understand some people won't like this pack. Some will probably hate it. Fortunately, it didn't cost anybody a single penny to get it.

The cars in pack DLC are really good.

Sesto Elemento is one strange car to drive. Even AI is struggling with it.

 

1 star for a laser scanned track, that is arguably the best looking in the game, for free.

I took a couple minutes for the tach and speedo to grow on me, I didn't like the dash at all for the first couple minutes I drove the car; now I think it's freakin' awesome!
