Xbox controller needs a clutch button

Im using an Xbox One controller and actually enjoying it but it really needs to be fully mappable. It would simply be really helpful if you could use the clutch button like you can in Forza Motorsport. Right now you can only assign it on the axes, which makes it impossible really.

Is this something that can be taken into consideration atleast?

 

This is a decision they took about clutch to be only for axis. Is not something that was forgotten to be mapped on controller.

But since 1.0rc version, any car you'll drive in the game will have auto functioning clutch for gamepads/keyboard. Even if in the assists section you turn off auto clutch, the game will still apply clutch when you're shifting manually with the buttons. So even if you can't map the clutch to a button, that doesn't matter any more, the game will do it, otherwise the engine would blow up. So this auto clutch is necessary to be able to race with something else than a wheel with pedals and manual.

 

shame there`s no button for dipping the clutch, people like me with only two pedals are missing out.

Turbo lag, dang wish there was a button to dip to get higher RPM.
