1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    I think that would be quite a difficult feat, to get a fully original 1987 RUF CTR to drive in anger round a track (there was only apparently 29 built from scratch, and the rest were converted from customer cars)

    It's not a replica of the Porsche, it's only based.
    I assume the suspension would also be very different from the porsche, it's a different car that looks similar

    This is a typical thread for any mod involving a Porsche or any porsche-like car! Some LOVE it, others HATE it. Either way, it takes a certain touch- more like a certain mindset- to drive quickly. When you go from cursing to smiling, you know you found that mindset.

    Look! I'm not telling you the car can't be driven in AC.
    That's not what this is about.
    Alois RUF didn't just take factory new 911 turbos, charge his customers ($189000-215000+ IMSMC...not counting the cost of the car itself as purchased from Porsche)...then hand them a car that had worst handling than my brother's $125000 twin turbo.
    It just didn't happen.
    If it did, anybody who spent almost $300000 is an idiot.
    I don't think any idiots bought RUF's cars.

    My brother had a 1997 993 Twin...not a modern turbo...even though it is one of the most sought after Porsche models.

    The only thing I found horrible on the RUF in AC is the catastrophic brakes and well simulated that the engine is in the back. Not a fan I tell you that much, :D Mostly cause I can't catch it. :D Then again I can't really catch Cobra either... :oops:

    The ruf yellowbird is the best car aristotelis has ever created for assetto corsa. Every other car feels dead compared to the ruf.
