1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Best: #7 0.299
    Worst: #1 0.465
    Mean: 0.351
    Also it's 2:18 AM and I'm using a crappy laptop clicker so that may be hindering me a bit.

    Edit: Did it a bunch more times holding the clicker down and then releasing instead and got mostly 0.280s and the best 0.210.

    Tried it, my best is 0.214, keeping the STOP pressed.
    If that is considered a cheat, my best time "with full click" 0.268 :)

    Well, I am gonna break the trend here and say that my first try without knowing what the heck was going on was .328 seconds.
    Beat that! Oh wait, it seems that you guys have already done it for the first time. Bummer. :p

    I remember a poll on a F1 site regarding reaction times. Many people believe that the occupations with the fastest reaction times are F1 drivers, and above that are fighter pilots. What do you guys think about that?

    P.S. And it wouldn't hurt to get a fighter pilot too (which I actually know a few and maybe one on the forums, although I doubt they would consider themselves a "fighter" pilot, but a jet pilot would be more appropriate.

    There is a documentary (which I believe is on youtube) about Michael Schumacher and what makes him great. They cover reaction time in this documentary, he does the ruler test against the presenter and its highlighted that reaction times for all humans are pretty much consistent.

    I think it may be the driven to win story.

    there also might be some latency? no?

    btw. normally with full click I was on average around 0.31 , with just releasing stop it dropped to 0.25 on average

    and got 0.053 on accident
