I'll look at some stracker data and will pick what is closer in pace.

 

If the GTA & 718 RS60 appear at a track I can tolerate I will most likely join. Been out of the loop for a while but last time we raced those the GTA needed a little slowing down.

 

List some tracks you like, I don't have anything in mind yet for GTA/718.

Looks like GTA/718 data was on server #3 which was discontinued.

Andy, better use ballast or restrictor on the GTA?
I remember the GTA being better in turns, the 718 faster on straights.

 

For those cars I would probably pick one of the following tracks (from the vanilla list)

Silv Int/Silv Nat/Silv 67
RBR Nat
V Classic/V Club
Monza Junior
Brands (either)
Zandvoort

I can check ALOOG STracker at about 6pm and let you know what we used. Definitely ballast and IIRC about 30-40kg.

Silv 67 sound intresting, or is it boring with those cars?

Monza Junior was a T1 crash fest with the Miata NA only.

 

Not a fan of HW, other options sound fine.
Speaking of tracks i'd suggest Mugello or Silverstone Intl. for Feud, Zandvoort for Präzision.

 

OK, GTA vs. 718 is on at Zandvoort with 30kg for the Alfa.

Could have been really awesome, but just the day when nothing comes together I guess.

And you know that driver behind is really bad if someone has spun in front, and he is still pushing you to brake as late as possible, and as cherry on top crashes into you too, of course.

Pretty great race after the relog, ping was gone, and Karsten too. The only problem left was Leif, i just couldn't overtake him

I was thinking about such solution for some time too.

 

Tonight was a bit too much for me.

While everybody lapped in 2:09 i lapped in 2:11.
When i finally figured how to setup the car and started lapping in 2:09 they lapped in 2:07 .
Not fair gents, not fair.

What saved my evening was crossing @Minolin later and having a nice a fair battle with him.
It was 5th position or something like that, it doesn't matter.

 

I was frustrated with my pace as well, the GTA used to be one of the cars I did best with but after some time away from AC I was all over the place in the little Alfa. My delta was a 2:08.0 and I could go .3 green in the first half of the lap but I was losing over half a second near the end of the lap. Im sure I could take the final turn flat at Zandvoort before, today it wasnt the case (tried with lowest and 2nd lowest 4th gear final drive.)

I dont think I can sip from different sides of the simulation cup without consequence.

 

The Alfa had ballast added, so that could be why it didn't handle quite like you remembered it.

 

No idea how it is between AMS and AC, but in general when I switch sims/games it takes me a couple days to really get adjusted.

 

I am the exact opposite to some of you. I have been racing less because the standard servers have not been used. I would much rather join one of the "multiple car standard servers" @ (for example) Vallelunga Classic than one of the "special events" @ a mod track. I started this thread precisely because I enjoyed the wide variety of modern road cars on offer in the MW/HW servers, and that is still the case today.
