Imo Porsche pack 2 is better than Porsche pack 1.

 

Btw guys, speaking of brakes. I had some issues earlier when I played with the 919 and the brakes locked up. Shouldnt those brakes be much better? If I remember correctly this happened in pretty low speeds.

 

its artificial, but less artificial than driving with a gamepad or DFGT pedals or ABS on non-ABS cars. if its not an exploit, theres zero issue. if it can be exploited, surely lobbies/RSR can set or show the value used? imo its generally not sensible to punish the many because of a few defective people.

 

Just think of it like people are putting a block of wood (or similar) under the brake pedal to limit it's travel.... don't worry that the car doesn't have an option to adjust this IRL.... because the same effect can be had with very rudimentary methods on any car IRL

So you guys are complaining that adjustable brake pressure to account for different pedal sets is arcade, but playing drift king in a 962 isn't ? Ok then.

But why does the long tail have adjustable turbo and the short tail does not?
I thought the difference is chassis only, because the tech specs in showroom are identical.

 

I have the GT3 RS and GT4 to drive yet, but for the other cars I support that claim.
Not really better, but definitely more enjoyable. The cars in PP1 are fun, but more in a challenging way. PP2 though, you just jump in and have fun from the first moment on.
I even think the Boxster handles better than the Cayman, but maybe the Cayman got changed with the 1.10 update too.

 

Very happy with the new pack, a quick test with all of them, my favorite for now is the 962. FFB i don't know if its placebo but it just feels close to perfect atm at the very least, the new packs FFB is very good. sound is a bit inconsistent as it was for pack one & generally for all the cars in AC. Im using VR oculus & at least it sound a bit more 3d in this pack, the free cayenne for example sounds really good like i'm in a car & the space feels or sound correct in the pack 1 caymen for example sounds mono it feels like the engine is in your head imo so this pack has improved in that respect but the GT3RS & GT4 sounds not what i would expect almost a bit synthesised i dunno it lacks something. There Are some bugs with the camera in this pack the GT1 for example puts me on the roof so unfortunately i can't test it, with some other cars presset view reset puts you too close to the wheel. This is becoming a bit of an issue with some cars red pack is the same & i wish kunos would just fix it as im sure its just a matter of changing a few numbers for position a camera. Overall the cars are ace & with pack 3 coming as well the game simply driving Porsche alone would last you many months let alone all the other cars we can drive.

 

In the News-thread was mentioned that one car is '85 model and one '87, maybe that's the reason.

 

I knew it had adjustable turbo first time i drove it... was the LT first time.... makes sense now (although not sure if correct or not).

This is my most favorite pack since DP1, really awesome content! And I only driven the RS Spyder and the GT3 RS until now

Dunno if it's just the sounds, but the GT3RS is no at all what I expected... not feeling the love at all with it

This is THE car I've been waiting on since the Porsche announcement, need to give it some time maybee but I'm not convinced.

Tried the old 718RS....incredible balance and fun.
GT4. Also very balanced etc.
991GT3 RS felt snappy but now(after tweaking the setup a tiny bit) it's playable like a RUF CTR(without the turbo-torque off course): *In Love* it's so aerodynamically planted yet easy on the limits (vs for example turbomonster 488GTB)
962: Nice. One of my adolescent dreams (next to Samantha Fox and Sabrina lol)
What's the difference between the short and the longtail(technically/powerwise, the latter being more stable I guess)
Longtail is a relatively easy drivable racecar , and it's fast but not furious like the C9. Great.

But GT3Rs is a blast to begin with. I thought 488GTB was 'best'(subjective) streetcar, but now I'm not so sure.
GT4 I have to test more.
