For me, bouncing seems to only happen with low fps. I've never had it with 60 fps or more, AI pitstops just work normally.

I can't test the update in the next days - I assume it's available only in the "Open" series as we have no 2024 season?

Drives exactly how I imagined. A bit of a pig to get turned in, then just fires out of the corners. Very point and squirt and incredibly fun. All for free. Amazing. Thanks Kunos.

Why doesn't the update start to be donwloaded? I have closed Steam a couple of times but V1.10.1 starts without any update.

I always set each game updates to high priority.

 

This was wonderful news to wake up to. I own a Mustang (with a V8 and a six speed!) in real life and have been following the GT3 program very closely. I even saw its debut race at Daytona this year. I'm over the moon with joy that it's finally in a sim, and my favorite one too. It feels pretty convincing. It's very stable and needs a little bit of encouragement to turn in, but there's loads of grip and the power is awesome. People don't think Mustangs can turn... but they can, and I know from experience. I'm a bit bummed that the sounds are just recycled from the Jaguar, because while it sounds very good, it's not realistic. But for a free car from a dev team who I'm sure are eager to just move onto ACE already, I can't complain too much.

Yeah that’s the one big disappointment, the recycled sounds. Apparently the team weren’t eager to hand over aero data either so it’s just using the BMW’s. Apparently. But hey, that’s probably why it’s free. Just great it’s in the game. Hopefully the Aston Evo next. Not expecting the corvette at all as it only appears in GTWCA.

 

That's a big claim (using BMW aero because Ford wouldn't provide the real data).

Any source to back that up?

 

I play on around 85-90 fps. Happens regardless.

It's nice to have a new car, although the sounds are recycled it seems, and probably the Aston Evo comes later.
