1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Better yet, maybe it's possible to mod the balloons and add some sponsor names to them, make them look legit like the previously pictured WEC balloon instead of multicolored circus balloons? :p

Sure! Kunos should add support for balloon mods, so maybe we could have something like this:
A laserscanned spider pig balloon mod would bring the simulation to a whole new level.

How did.....I not see this thread?
I seriously feel like KUNOS might put a humungous-ly impossibly oversized balloon on one of the tracks despite this thread.

Funny thing. My gf and I during the summer buy tons of balloons (I mean too many) for a 4 person tent. Somewhere around 500 party balloons (and more). Blow them all up in the tent, and then turn on an industrial grade fan in there and just jump in :D The kid loves it, and anyone who actually had fun during the 70's definitely appreciates it.

I LITERALLY expect 1.6 Zonda R update to include WAY TOO MANY balloons in the cockpit, professionally recorded balloon impact sounds, and static electricity simulation.

I'll try to reduce the probability in ini files at first.

Maybe some drones instead but Kunos will need to update the damage model. :D

Well what do you know in the "Gran Turismo Sport" trailer ,OMG! there are balloons.
What have we started now they are going to call it a "Real SIM" or a "Simcade"
I am now really confused? What will happen to me when I strap on a VR headset?

Well, GT was always a simcade trying to disguise itself as a sim. Maybe balloons are a trend on simcades.

You can actually mod the balloons just fine and insert anything as a static/moving object into the tracks, like the UFO. Issue with helicopters is that there's no proper path and animation.

Its got nothing to do with baloons but what your simulation value is set to. The higher the simulation value the less arcade but by default AC should come with a coin slot it seems. :D

Great! All that's left now is to laserscan the spiderpig balloon.

I wonder if Toyota's loss in Le Mans wasn't some form of protest about those simcade-ish balloons.
"I'll not move from here until you remove these abominations with no simulation value!"
