1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Black Cat County rough FFB

Why ffb is so bad on this track?
    Super spiky, uneven and rough.
Most cars just clip in corners and if you set lower FFB gain with powerful wheel like OSW, it just keeps climbing up to unmanageable level.
Wondering what exactly contributes to this, most non laserscaned mod tracks do not suffer from this problem.

Is this all the way around the track or the very rough section of track Andrew?

Seems like the whole track is this way but turns are the worst, the FFB just ramps up like nowhere else. Special event with Corvette, it's awful. Same car, different track, same ffb settings, and it feels completely different.

Not noticed this myself, but maybe it's intentional because it's a public road?

I dont see this either. The only problem i have is full course Monza with the oval parts where FFB goes up so high that my wheel almost explodes. I have to push FFB minus when i come on the straight and bring it down to about 20% and then push the button to bring it up after the 2 sections. Its a reason why i dont drive it more even though i love the track. I could use the FFBclip app and maybe you can set a max FFB in it(?) because it will just ramp up to insane levels before coming to a corner which makes turn in very heavy. Im gonna check that out later. But yes, its the only track i have "an issue" on. BCC is fine for me personally.

I've done some back to back driving. Special Event with Corvette on BC and same cars racing on Barcelona.
I guess the clue is the track surface, on BC it's not only super textured and rough (public road) but also super grippy, it's almost impossible to break tail loose. On Barcelona it's smooth, typical racing track tarmac, car starts sliding when pushing over the limit, on BC grips just goes up along with the wheel resistance, SAT is also quite exaggerated.
Add rollercoaster like track undulations and it's pretty beating experience driving there.
Anybody with DD shares the same observations?
