Blacklisted a !! track day tourist (magione)

i was blacklisted from the server in the title but do not know why.there was others on the server but no one on track no one near me i did not cause any crash.its a server i have used in the past and would like to know why i have been blacklisted..?..or is this a bug issue..?

 

Maybe you did something wrong earlier, other day?

 

Jimmo banned me this morning as well.

All I've ever done is drive respectfully in there and help other people. I've driven with you in there, dubs, and have seen you do the same. If an Jimmo decides to ban us for that, then he doesn't deserve the support we have given him. Or maybe he is just a noob admin that loves the "power" of the ban button. Either way, he can cram it.

Dubs: I'll have a server up soon enough, and you are always welcome.

 

I've spent a good amount of time on his servers, as well as driving next to him. Jimmo is a good racer and a fair admin. I don't really believe he could ban someone for no reason, either you did something that you're not aware of or there's been a mistake.

 

As have I victor, and I had thought the same.

With me, I've not even played AC in the past few days. I logged on and jumped in the server. I was the only car on track. Got 2 laps in, and was banned. No message sent, just ban.

 

Next time I see him, I'll ask.

this may or not be the cause but, are you guys running the pit lane penalty app?

I ask because I was kicked from a server immediately as I signed in, not blacklisted so I went back to ask why, took me three times before I got an answer, he said "what's PLP? version xxx?" so I told him it was |Pit Lane Penalty app "oh" he said . and that was it. had a couple races then left.

I imagine he thought it was some kinda hack or something , never asked, probly should have.

anyway that may be the case here? dunno, just sayin'

 

If thats the case youd think the guys would do some research before banning, Im pretty sure if there were hacks then having them announce themselves in public chat for all to see and version numbers would kind of defeat the purpose of using a hack.

and like you weavin we have had some good clean battles on magione with others also, which is hard to do on a small tight track with cars in varying performances and peeps drifting rather than setting lap times.
if it was something i had done or rules had been broken like you i'd be honest enough to admit and apologise for any wrong doing and correct the error of my ways.
i'll look forward to visiting your server weavin as your clean and fair driving is something that is more needed on all servers.

i am not aware of running any app i have not installed any apps and have played on that server many many times till this banning event happend..

the day before i got banned i was on with my mate killalot setting laps in the cobra getting good times with very little incidents. and i always apologise if i have done wrong by making contact ..

 

Jimmo said this might have been a votekick by others, and bans are untill server reset, so you should be good now.
