1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    I agree it would be better if it looked more real, I'd also like a real skin on the car as an option or at least change the colour.

    The Ghost car show up on your second lap and can be set to be seconds ahead of you !

    Maybe you have set it to 5 seconds ahead !

    I enjoy having the ghost car to challenge myself in lowering laptimes.

    I searched the forums and the in-game apps for this question and did not get any hits. Is there an app to show the time delta between a drivers current lap and the lap time of the ghost car? I think it would nice to see how I am doing against the ghost car on any lap. thanks.

    I haven't been able to figure how to get the ghost car to show up at all ... what mode of play do you need to be in for it to be there (hotlap? practice?) ... Is there a setting somewhere? I can't find it.. I have no ghost car :)

    There is one app that is similar to the one in iRacing ( without the graphics ) that show in red and green text how you are doing !

    I am not home right now but I believe it is under Hotlap where there is a box you tick and also can set in seconds how many seconds advance the ghost should have !

    Can you bit more specific? I tried all the apps in AC and did not see it.

    To clarify, I am looking for an app that will show the delta time between the ghost car and my car during the current lap. For example, if the ghost runs a 1:57.333 it will always use this time and show delta time with any lap I am currently running (until I beat the ghost car lap and then the new value will replace old value). thanks.

    IIRC, the PD does not do this in my copy AC. I will check again tonight. :D

    Can you repeat back to me in your words what you think I am asking? I don't think you are understanding the question.

    edit...Or can someone else verify what I am asking in post above if this works in their version of AC as magicdog claims works in his version of AC? Thanks!!

    The Performance Delta App compares your current lap to the fastest lap (Ghost) you've done !

    If the numbers are green you are ahead and if the numbers shows red you're behind ( The Ghost ) !

    Pretty basic !

    I would like it to work like you said but I don't found what is wrong because if the ghost car passes me I still have green numbers for a while, for me it's not the difference from my best lap , don't know what Delta performance is showing, I would like what you have described.

    This happens when you start a new session. The ghost will be your PB while the delta time will be your best lap in this session.

    Would be nice to be able to chose which laps are used for performance comparison. When hotlapping, I would like the app to show the delta with my PB (or a target time/friends time) instead of the session best time. I could use the ghost car to see my current performance relative to my PB, but I prefer turning it off as it sometimes interferes with my driving.
