1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Well imo there's more interesting tracks than Laguna Seca in the North America but I'll take it. At least it's gonna be the most accurate version of the track I've ever driven.

    It may have to do something with them already having a deal with Mazda. Not a very long track 2.238 miles (3.602 km) but interesting addition nevertheless. I've heard people who drove it IRL say that it feels never right in driving games (elevation changes, cambers, bumps). Laserscanning should fix that problem (while iRacing has laserscanned Seca too)

    Laguna Seca is welcome but Sebring or COTA would be my preferred additions as I think Laguna Seca is heavily overhyped.

    However, any new circuit coming to Assetto Corsa is good news though. Good stuff.

    In the last stream from Stefano (with Marco in it) he already somewhat confirmed this track would be coming ;) "One of the top voted tracks that isn't in the EU and it isn't Suzuka" Laguna was the only one fitting the description.
    It should be coming at the beginning of 2017 with the first next Non-Porsche DLC afaik (or they put it out with Porsche pack #3 but I don't think they'll be adding tracks to the Porsche Packs).

    Very happy with Laguna, one of the best US tracks, personally I am not keen on Sebring (too flat and boring) or Sonoma.

    Would like to see COTA though.....

    I can't think of anything more terrifying than the Corkscrew with these physics! I can't keep the thing on the track at the best of times! Lol.

    I'll take any new track officially reproduced in high quality for the sim, thank you very much.

    I personally also don't see Laguna Seca as a particularly great track to drive - but I think what some people don't get is that a track like Laguna Seca really is about racing more than just ten laps as laps just fly by, it's about consistency, it's about managing tyres and fuel, getting tiny advantages over your competitors here and there. And if you're a race driver you race to win a race and championship, no time to complain about how boring a track is. It won't be boring with 30 other cars on track.

    It's also interesting to read 'Sebring' and 'too flat' in one sentence.

    Sebring is one of the bumpiest tracks in existence. Sure, it has no elevation - lots of tracks have no elevation. But it's so bumpy, particularly fast corners, that driving fast on it is a challenge. For the driver and the machine, which makes it so interesting to race on. It's definitely not "flat".

    Yeehaw, another of my favourite tracks into AC!

    Looking at the definition of "flat", it could refer to bumpiness or elevation, so let's not argue over this point. Everyone knows it's not got elevation change but it is very bumpy.

    There's a great ribbon of Sebring that's great fun to drive, it's name escapes me at the minute though. The full course isn't great though.

    sebring is better but laguna seca is a better fit for what AC is (imo)

    but yeah, a laserscanned sebring outside of iracing has gotta be a top 5 track at least for me, doesnt matter the sim.
