The option to get my money back would be good. I am afraid that this game on console is and always will be substandard

 

About pitstops with mechanics... They are already in the game... In a custom race or the Extreme GT series of career mode you can pit when needed, change tyre, refill fuel and fix some damage... Here are two screenshots i did (PS4)




About more IA....Its quite complex, in other games the AI cars goes with simplified physics... On assetto the AI cars aren't downed down... They use the same physics and that is a lot of work for the CPU.
So don't expect to see more than 16 cars on track, cause it's the limit that the console CPU allows with the full physics the AI uses.

 

A refund for a £40 game that lasts over the years, whose development is still undergoing through constant updates? You'd spend it very easily at a restaurant, regardless of how much you enjoyed your food/experience. You wouldn't surely ask for a refund if the food was good enough, but not according to your "taste", right?

About the game, if it doesn't meet your expectations as of now, you could still change your mind with the updates to come. If you don't change your mind? It's only £40 we're talking about! Besides, you're likely no beggar, or else you would be taking care of your survival somewhere away from this forum.

Don't wanna wait and see if the game comes to what you expect? Just sell it if you've got a hard copy. Is it a digital version you've got? Then MS/PS4 store tells you point blank there's no refund for purchases before you buy it, in which case your comment here is completely out of place and unnecessary. Just delete it and go after something that will make you happier.

3. Ability to download setups (I cant do them)

 

1. when you´re in the online lobby it would be nice to see how many laps the race will be (often forget how many laps the race is so i don´t know how much fuel i have to take with)
2. The opportunity to change the setup while the race countdown runs before the race
3. When the time of the Qualify is over there should be some "countdown" that it doesn´t take too long until the qualify really ends and the race starts....Nordschleife Endurance is chaos...you have to wait 10 minutes until the race starts....)
4. More Steering wheel options (FFB etc.)
5. The opportunity to change the grip level of the track (green, etc.)
-> In general all the features that are already on PC...

 

Listen pal it may only be £40 to you but for me it is a significant amount and as far as I'm concerned I think it is totally out of order how you are sold something which is apparently an equivalent experience to the pc only to find it blatantly isn't. If you are happy being used as a beta tester with a full price product more fool you. I dont get this constant backlash to fair comments or complaints about this substandard game. Look beyond the end of your nose it isn't good enough.

 

For me, I'd like to see

- tracking of personal bests per track, per vehicle. I like to see if I'm improving over time and using certain setups, and it's nice if the game kept track of some of that info
- community events inside the game
- a bigger, more diverse career mode (e.g. include more historical car events)
- AI to not have an unfair advantage over me, for example, AI should not have better artificial grip or stability control (not sure if that's the case now, but suspect it might be)

Laptime saved in your game from each car and track
Better AI on hard and very hard
Full race replay
Button mapping and keyboard
Showroom with each car and info
False start in race

 

a) showroom
b) telemetry
c) some kind of warning when running out of fuel
d) fuel consumption data

 

I'd like the full game please not the dumbed down edition.

 

Exactly, the lack of content is shocking. You may hurt some people's feelings just by addressing the issues though, so be careful. Specialists may also recommend you to consult a psychologist for speaking your mind. This is the AC forum, home of the bestest sim on consoles. You had the opportunity to reply on a factual and maybe respectful basis, but you missed it. Assetto Corsa is not for everyone. If you consider it an incomplete game, just ask for a refund, or resell it, and move on.

Fortunately we are living a golden age of racing games and there are many to choose from.

Lack of content? Do you not research products before you buy?

 

1. Fuel calculator. As much as I love testing and tweaking, there are too many cars and tracks for me to tabulate fuel consumption tables for all of them.
2. Better session information once you're in a multi-player session. I frequently focus too much on car selection, and forget what race format I'm in during qualifying.
3. Ways to connect with other MP participants. I can't find a way to view someone's PSN profile. It makes it hard to get party chat going for people you meet online.
