MrMugel VLN Server - Nuerburgring Endurance Cup [MR-ABC]

Ähm, I just wanted to ask if there is any possible solution for making the Quali Timeout shorter. Right now we are waiting 25 Mins for everyone getting back in the Pits, serveral people already left... Its kind of annoying....... *arg*

 

I´ve just been there, and it shouldn´t be that way. Overtime is set at 110% of the best laptime. I could think about doing 25 minutes quali and just 50% overtime, as I actually like that better, maybe even lower. But this seems to have been a bug. @AC Support , is there anything like this known? Qualifying not ending? Or is possible to keep the poll option open in overtime?

Maybe there was no valid time when the official time ran out, and the system got confused? Could that happen? Than there´s hardly any possibility, but setting overtime to 0% (If that would even work).

Edit: If someone is there a lot, I´d still think about sharing the server admin password, so someone else could help manage it. PM me if there is interest.

 

The session timer jumped to something like 1956:xx when the overtime started.

 

I have looked into the overtime issue and found that I missed the QUALIFY_MAX_WAIT_PERC line in the cfg. Had some trouble to get the server to run at first and it must have fallen victim to that optimization. It is now properly included, so the qualifying overtime should work. Still 20 minutes + 110% of the best lap.

I have also given the admin pass to Pascal Kuerschner, so if he´s on and there are troubles, he can interact.

GT86 now added, 650S GT3 removed, as it never actually raced in VLN so far. Some other car numbers changed, too, as well as the sequence of the cars (235i and GT86 should be at the back by default now).

Those awesome MP moments, 2 players racing only, "Moe" and me, both AMG GT3, we both had some issues in Lap1, I made up some time on Doettinger Höhe in 2nd lap, and than he brakes early for Hohenrain, I get next to him and we go through it two wide. Worked out, didn´t get past, but we both managed to keep our line. And that turn isn´t for the faint hearted.

Hi guys, sorry for the spam. I updated some settings on the server, basically upping the race to 5 laps and making it GT3 only. With that length, you´d have to wait ages for the 235is to finish, as much as I like them, just doesn´t make sense in non timed races.

I am now online on the server, if anyone wants to join me, have a go, see you on track!

 

Just set the server up for VLN again "MrMugels VLN Server [MR AB]", GT3, M235i and GT4 Clubsport for now, will include GT3R and GT3 Cup Porsche cars tomorrow, as soon as I can get my hands on them!

24 cars in total, 12 GT3, 4 M235i, 4 GT4s and 4 GT3 Cup, I think it will be. Open for different suggestions is the interest is there, though.

Currently running 20 minutes + 120% quali, 4 laps race. Different Eifel weathers, but nothing really bad.

 

Included Porsche GT3 R and 4 cup class cars. It´s 3 M235i, 3 Cayman GT4 Clubsport, 4 911 GT3 Cup and a mixed field of GT3 cars. As the server often runs empty, drop a line here if you´re willing to race and I guess some others might be interested to start things up, myself included!
