1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Music coming though one speaker.

The first piece of music that plays when you open the game ( I think it's on the career screen ) is panned hard right i.e. it only comes through the right speaker.

I play in my recording studio, noticed it straight away and thought my PS4 audio interface was playing up. It's only with this one piece of music though.

Checked this several times, same thing every time.

Not the end of the world but I'm sure people will complain.

Same here. Its not only the music, the ui sounds are the same. After the first event the sound is coming only from one channel. The in-game sounds are fine, it affects only the menu. I had to mute the music because its very annoying.

I've found the menu music sometimes plays through the left channel and sometimes the right. Also, even with the music volume set to 75%, it is very loud compared to the in game sounds as if it's mixed at a much higher level ?
Also, even though I have engine sound set to 100% it is very muted when in cockpit view whilst the other cars around me are deafening in comparison making it difficult to hear your shift points, or tell when the limiter is reached !
This needs addressing as it's no fun having to turn the volume up to hear your car, only to be blasted with music when you exit to the menus.

My music volume is at 20% to be honest. Seems to be a lot more comfortable level wise.

I'll have to have a try at that level Borez, at 75% it's just too loud compared to the in game sound effects.

Set your music level to 20-25%. You wont really hear any noticeable decrease in music volume until your below that roughly 30% mark.
I also found the issue of music coming from right speaker much more than left, distorting my tv speakers when sound is thru HDMI. When i run it thru digital optical to my amp there is no issue though and the sound is clearer.
Something id like is more agressive sounds like in PC version. Sometimes when your in outside the car view (follow view) the car exhausts sound quiet, with no bass, when you go inside view, nicer sounds. Just some slight tweeks needed.
    Great game though.

P.S. please dont abuse me. I have heard and seen for myself what the logic of the assetto fanboy is....... almost like an islamic terrorist. No criticism allowed. Even constructive criticism.

Speaker issue will be fixed in 1st update i assume. With regards to volume, set it below 30% roughly depending on your preference.

I agree with the same problem. I have an external Sound Blaster Recon 3D connected to PS4 and the music sounds ok (both speakers) but after a while the music sounds only on my left speaker; if I go into a race, sound effects work on both speakers. I have no problems at all with all my games

Same for me. Randomly comes out of whichever speaker it wants on 5.1 surround. I've had it come through front right, front left, and rear right on their own.
