lol on xbox there is no sale offer in sight i don´t pay 30 euros seasonpass for a game i waited nearly 4 months that it runs without stuttering. it´s a general decision because i didn´t accept anymore that publisher throw unfinished games on the market.
i think for the patience and loyality, a one week offer is not to much. it makes more sense to sell none seasonpass for 30 euros then thousands with a 25% offer for a week.
specially when i think that it´s nearly impossible to run red pack cars on a wheel because there not enough buttons for it. if i buy the seasonpass i wait how the kers and hybrid cars are been controled (button assigment) with the g920.

 

If the season pass is offered at discount price in Europe, I would purchase too...

It's a bit difficult to run red pack cars on Xbox one .... They ain't released the red pack yet.... All games are unfinished to a degree when launched the big difference with assetto corsa is that kunos constantly work on the game and add features

 

Red Pack (namely the F1 cars, especially the SF15-t, the F138 is simpler) would need some sort of "D-Pad HUD menu". Or implementing double-clicks, single-clicks and holding button as 3 separate functions. That is probably the only reason they've not released it yet, wheel (or gamepad) just runs out of buttons

 

The EU stores weren't updated so I guess It's a US-only deal, sadly.

 

Question.. If I have NOT purchased any of the car packs yet, and I purchase this Season Pass, will I be able to download all the available cars/packs? And then future packs? How long does the season pass last? Do we have access to all future add-ons, free of charge? I know., a lot of questions here. Thanks in advance!

(I'm asking because it mentions the Japanese pack, Red pack, and Porsche,. But nothing is mentioned about the Performance or Prestige packs. It also says access to, and discounts. Discounts?)

 

The season pass won't get you the prestige or performance packs.

But will get you the 3 Porsche , Japanese and red packs when released

If your a PSN subscriber in the States and haven't bought any DLC for AC yet and enjoy the game this is simply a no brainer...My money would of been spent put it that way. It does mean however I will hold off on buying the content for a while longer (UK based), as it has been discounted in a another region already!

 

Yes, I think 'season pass' is the wrong terminology for this as precident for season passes include all content. It's more a specific bulk discount pass for certain dlc's. It will and has confused buyers due to the title and could have been better named to avoid all this.

Season Pass has always been a discount on specific DLCs. They almost never include the upgrade to a different version of the game. The Deluxe or whatever upgrade is most often sold separately.

 

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF I just bought the season pass last week. I knew this would happen. I knew the second I buy it itll drop in price. I even had the psn card ready to top off my wallet when I bought this game but since the DLC wasnt ready day1 I decided to wait it out

 

Someone on GTplanet says he did the same so he contacted PS support and they gave him some vouchers to make amends. Worth a shot.

I bought the driveclub season pass and had access to all driveclub DLC, I bought Battlefield season pass and had access to all Battlefield DLC, I bought Borderlands season pass and had access to all Borderlands DLC. If I buy the AC season pass I don't get access to all AC DLC as the prestige/performance DLC isn't included. I understand the description completely specifies this so there is no underhand business going on, I was just commenting that the title of 'Season Pass' didn't really do itself any favours on the confusion front based on the above. And quite clearly it has confused based on the number of threads relating to it

 

The prestige and performance pack weren't really standard DLC , they were special pre-order edition packs that then became available to everyone at a later date.

with battlefield they know they are going to only release 4 DLC packs when they release the season pass and then the next battlefield will be released and the process starts again.

But I can see with AC that you might get a season 2 pass as there will not be an AC2 anytime soon so the next 4/5 DLC will be included in that pass?

 

I understand, but to anyone looking in the store the prestige/performance looks like standard DLC. As mentioned, the description clearly states what you get included, but season passes in general tend to cover all DLC for a game and judging by the threads on the forums it has confused people who have expected to get the prestige/performance pack included. They got it right on the PC by selling a Porsche season pass and the others individually, no ambiguity there

 

Your previous 2 posts have been exquisitely worded. Very clear. Kudos to you, sir. You're 100% correct, it IS confusing but at the same time fully explained in the write up so not at all underhanded. Just a bit of a bummer, as I really want the corvette and mustang. I'll have to wait a few more weeks before purchasing that pack I supposed..

Also just a side note, but only one of those other packs needs to be purchased, it seems. I believe the prestige pack has all the cars the performance pack has, and then some! So buyers beware on that.
