1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    A bit off topic. But as this was a new track to me I thought I would share with you how I learnt it (i'm not one the fast guys). Some of you might do this already if you do then just ignore me.
    So, I basically set up a quick race with the correct track / car combination. I start on very easy and I DON'T race the Ai. I just follow the last car. Once comfortable with this I then go to easy, then keep notching up the difficulty as I get used to the track. Now the Ai don't always take the fastest line but they do take a good line. Enough for you to learn from and improve upon. You will learn the line, braking points etc. I then do a few hotlaps.

    Thats the logical way to do it. Alternatively you can spend an hour learning the track by constantly restarting after you have died a virtual death,which is what i do:D

    I'll take top 20. Even if it's barely and was a bit of a fluke lap. Most of mine were in the low 14s, managed 2 in a row in the 12s and could never get back. I don't know where you fast guys are finding another 6 or so seconds.

    You can do it via Twitch which then allows you to upload to YouTube. The Xbox DVR is good for what it does but just too limited in terms of how long you can record (maximum 5 minutes) but is enough for a lap at most tracks.

    Nice job everyone. Never got a proper run at this.. had 20 minutes on Wednesday to get an idea of the track and car but then other stuff took over and never posted any time from it so i'll roll on to the next one and hopefully have a bit more time to play.

    I got twitch set up and was broadcasting a session,then noticed that i had 6 people viewing,so i turned it off!
    Is there anyway you can just record privately??

    No unfortunately not, once you start its live for anyone to view. The broadcasting banner has always been something that bugged me too but again there's nothing you can do about that either.
