1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    I've been working long hours and haven't had much time for racing lately. Also been playing watchdogs (kinda like GTA without the gangsta crap)
    I took a crack at this challenge and, wow, this car gets squirrelly easy.
    You guys below 1:50 are not human. On the straights, this car wants to walk sideways. The throttle is feather touch. Understeer, oversteer, donuts.
    Damn.
    My best time was something like 2:08.xxx. Dismal and I won't post a screenshot until I get closer to 2:00.

    Aye, but when it clicks into place it's a beautiful thing, and entirely different to any other car in the sim. (Well, anything other than the other old Maserati.) Balance is so responsive to both throttle and steering inputs. Can't get enough of it.
    Definitely worth trying the setups posted earlier in the thread - Originals' worked a treat for me.

    I have sub 1:50 in me, but have no idea how to put a consistent lap together. Usually finding myself with too shallow of an entry into turns and/or unable to exit turns cleanly. That's been the story so far, at least...

    Nonetheless, this would be a fun combination to run whenever private lobbies drops!

    Ok. After taking some setup secrets and pouring about an hour of grief into the task, I knocked almost 5 second off my time.
    Not total redemption in my book, but it counts. I can't keep the car going straight.
    Hats off to the dudes that actually drove this beast in competition. :p

    Just a suggestion for the next weekly hotlap; we should do the Nurburgring Tourist layout (Accessible in Practice mode), the classic “bridge to gantry” time attack. Maybe for the car the standard E30 or something similar, the sort of car you’d see at the track on a regular basis. I’ve been doing some laps and comparing them with real life ones, I think it’d be really fun to compare with other players.

    Felt good to string together three-plus laps without an invalidation multiple times. Love how the car behaves on this track in particular. Would've liked to go sub 1:50, but couldn't quite smash through the wall of inconsistencies and eventually found myself exhausted of this challenge.

    Really enjoyed this, but sometimes you just have to admit when your skill has run out. I can do mid 54s for fun, 10 or 15 laps in a row no problem, but to get into 53s I start to crash a lot. Amazing stuff by the players up front.
