1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Welcome to the thread for Weekly Hotlap #31 - The Exos Experience

    The Challenge.
    Car: Lotus Exos 125 Stage 1
    Track: Barcelona GP

    I realized we haven't raced a modern single seater in the WHC yet, and I think it is about time to do so. The Lotus Exos 125 is not a Formula One car, but it is made to give their customers an idea of what it is like to drive the real thing without the high cost and headache that goes along with a real Formula One car. This is powered by a Cosworth V8, while it doesn't rev as high as the V8s of it's Formula One counterparts it still packs 750BHP in the Stage 1 variant of the Exos. No ABS on this car, but you do have the option of traction control, and don't forget to use that DRS!

    The Rules.
    Time of day: Free
    Ambient Temp: 26 Degrees
    Setup: Free
    Controller: Free
    Assists: Factory
    Stability:Free
    Penalties: On <--- Only applicable to Practice mode.

    If it isn't mentioned here then assume the setting is free.

    Please make sure you have the ambient temperature set correctly, I really don't like disallowing times!

    Sunday May 21st - 22:00 BST (GMT+1)

    How to take part!
    To enter simply head into the game select Drive > Hotlap / Practice choose the Lotus Exos 125 Stage 1 and head to Barcelona GP. Make sure you setup the session using the settings detailed in this thread and hit the track!

    You can run as many laps as you like and update your times as often as you like, its simple :) All Platforms are welcome, it is all about having fun and enjoying Assetto Corsa.

    To submit a time, pause the game and select 'session' from the menu and screenshot this page or take a photo of your screen and post it in this thread - Note all the information from the screen is required including temperature.


    Feel free to post video clips and share information in here as well, but without the session screen your time will not be included (placing the session screen in a video clip is acceptable).

    You also need to state the time and your platform in the body of your post, this should be the first thing you do, the image should then be placed below the text. It would also be helpful to mark updated times with Improvement. This makes collating the results much easier.

    For me it is X on the wheel, the only DRS zone is on the front stretch starting at the start/finish line. On the XB1 it should be X for the wheel no matter which control preset you are using.
