1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Hugo Hugo Hugo what have you done? You like it to see us suffer don't you! I felt sorry for my T300 and 599xx blablabla wheel last week. This week also my TH8A starts to stutter and works together with the wheel to set up a strike against me.
    I love it!! So thanks for this great combo.

    3:59 to start with but I hope/expect a 3:55 by the end of the week? Too ambitous too conservative? We'll see.

    As usual, Monday first few laps to figure out the pace.
    Awesome combo again, weeks after weeks enjoyment keeps rising, when and where will you end @Hugo Catarino ? :D
    The GT40 is great fun, don't hesitate to turn the steering wheel more than usual to point the front end where to go, and hard on the power and let the read end flow around the curve. At least that's what I do.
    Curious to see how fast @HavanaB0B will be this week, I know the GT40 is YOUR car ;)

    Thank you, i love this combo too, my personal favourite :) Suffer?well, you know what they say...no pain, no gain! hopefully everyone will be a better driver after the end of every challenge :D:D:D

    Well, i think my end is this week,i'm just replacing Graveltrap for a couple of weeks,so next challenge will probably be his :p I try to do that too, but obviously not so sucessfull as you, there is more or less 6 seconds that separates us :D:D

    This was frightening as hell! First time with the car and track and thoroughly petrifying. Leave less braking distance than an oil tanker? Die! Turn AT ALL under braking? Die! Don't ease off the brakes gently? Wild steer and die! Downshift a fraction early? Die!!!

    I find myself almost locking my arms before I brake and generally find myself holding on more than anything....thoroughly exhilarating at points. The track has some plainly crap bits and some bits I can't wait to go faster through. No idea where my time will end up;

    We have been through his before, the WHC is based around the trust of forum members, if you need to use the barriers to set a fast time to see some "great lap" comments or a top 10 time you are really only cheating yourself...

    When I've touched the barriers the car gets spun round, and there goes another few minutes of a wasted lap! :p

    But I concede the last corner you seem to be able to carry on, but if you are hitting the sides/barriers, you're probably not putting in a competitive time driving like that! ;)

    On a more serious note, when Highlands was released it was possible to use barriers to your advantage. It was quickly patched by KS though, so unless for some reason it wasn't included in consoles update, it's not possible to use barriers to gain advantage anymore. Never really tried to do it myself, but that's how it looked after the update:



    Should be enough to prevent people from doing that.

    I had a quick go with this combo yesterday,holy cow.I spent most of the time pointing the wrong way.Had my TH8A replaced so just getting used to it again.I did finish one whole lap in 4:30.Will put up a lap time once i get used to it or more like if i get used to it.Good fun though
