1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Welcome to the thread for the weekly hotlap #5 - Small But Wicked

    The Challenge.
    Car: Abarth 500 Assetto Corse
    Track: Silverstone International

    So something new a front wheel drive race car, lift off oversteer is the order of the day, luckily with this sort of car its pretty easy to catch, just nail the throttle to the floor! You have adjustable suspension once again so plenty to fiddle with but tyre choice is limited to hard slicks.

    A shortened version of Silverstone seemed to be the best fit, and it seemed to get some love in the #3 thread.

    This combination is also an online server for console players, so developing the car here may help with some proper racing, it may be fun to try and populate a server at some point during the week ;)

    The Rules.
    Time of day: Free
    Ambient Temp: 26 Degrees
    Setup: Free
    Controller: Free
    Assists: Factory

    The Deadline.
    Sunday November 6th - 22:00 GMT < Extra hour here

    How to take part!
    To enter simply head into the game select Drive > Hotlap choose the Abarth 500 Assetto Corse and head to Silverstone International. Make sure you setup the session using the settings detailed in this thread and hit the track!

    You can run as many laps as you like and update your times as often as you like, its simple :)

    To submit a time, pause the game and select 'session' from the menu and screenshot this page or take a photo of your screen and post it in this thread.

    All Platforms are welcome, please let us know what you are using when submitting a time.

    Feel free to post video clips and share information in here as well, but without the session screen your time will not be included.

    A leader board will be collated on a daily basis to keep everyone upto date on where they currently stand...Unfortunately editing of posts gets locked on this forum so this post will not be updated.

    Feel free to use the unofficial leader board but remember you still need to include the session screen in this thread to be included in the results.

    Guys, I need to start the suggestions early this week as I won't be at home for the close of this event or the start of the next. I am looking to ramp things up again for #6 so a super / hyper / stupid fast car required on a longer circuit...

    Still sticking with console base game content for the time being! I may be persuaded into one of the 3 cars from the performance pack if everyone has access to it...

    That time won't last long for sure! Not a fan of this variation either, much prefer the full GP circuit, but would of been a pretty long lap...'The link' as it is called feels wrong for some reason, it is also going to be important as it leads to the Hanger straight!

    It feels so strange not running the GP layout but with the lack of speed this thing has I'm glad we aren't. For next week how about the P1 at Spa ;)
