1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Win 10 1803

    Windows 10 just updated to 1803 and now my fps in vr are not as good as they used to be. Is anyone else experience this issue? I used to have 90fps. When I check msi afterburner after doing a lap not only do I see my fps dipping but so does the gpu mhz speed. It used to always be at 2000 or 2012 but now it drops down to 1486.

    CPU i7 3820 @ 4.6ghz
    GPU 1080TI pci 3.0
    RAM 16gig 1866mhz

    I tried upgrading my gpu drivers to the latest after doing a DDU in safe mode clean install.

    I noticed it this week when I updated the driver to support this Windows update; however, the update never installed... I read that MS is delaying deployment on systems with discreet graphics cards.

    I might roll back the driver to see if it fixes the problem.

    Just run DDU and let it disable Automatic Driver supdate, after that install the latest NVidia drivers.

    Not that surprised tbh, I had so many issues with fps spikes in v1709 that I ended up installing 1703 again and deferring feature updates for 365 days to stop it going back to 1709.

    No way am I letting this new update near my gaming rig unless I have time spare to format and re-install in case it is no good!

    My system updated to v1803 and I had multiple issues with controllers and audio but, managed to sort them out by disconnecting all USB devices, rebooting and reconnecting hardware. The update also changed the default audio device to my motion system, which really caused some strange behavior until I checked the audio devices. No more issues over the last couple of days.

    Update. Tried everything I could think of to get my fps back but nothing worked so I performed a recovery to previous build and now Assetto Corsa won't even start. Had steam check the integrity and it completed 100% with no missing files.

    This update is the work of the devil! Don't update if you haven't already. I am serious, my neighbors whole small business was down and he had to hire outside IT service to come in, after spending $$$'s on them, they just rolled all his comps back to older OS build. **** Microsoft.

    My system has almost same specs as yours, if you have W10 pro I think you can roll back to OS version 1709.

    Ok finally got everything back to normal and working. RivaTuner was what was preventing Assetto Corsa from starting. Once I uninstalled that along wirh clearing preferences. I was good. Now win 10 is bugging me saying 1803 is downloaded and waiting to install. When I recovered back to previous build it said it would not try to install till there was a build after the one I was recovering from. I guess that was a typo. I obviously don't want to do the update but the thing that sucks is when ever win10 is holding an update I always notice slightly glitcher vr experience.

    I swear I've met a lot of jerks in my life but win10 just take the cake. I can't believe they think they can just walk into my garden and start stepping all over my flowers. VR is my place of peace and tranquility and win10 is trying it's best to ruin that.

    Now I'm thinking I might just have to do the update or as I like to call it brakedate and then try a fresh install after that to see if gets rid of the fps drop of 1803.

    "Safe to update?" With Microsoft in 2018? You rather find hell freezing over. This is Windows 10. Forget "safe updating". Quality control - not wanted anymore. Technical competence - fired. Both is not needed if you have millions and millions of hopeful beta testers.

    Windows was planned to be so much more than what Microsoft can handle anymore. Hubris. I predict this mess of the past years will not go away, will not even ease in coming years. Get used to it. Or migrate to another OS.

    At the moment there is no real gaming platform alternative for PC users.
    Few ported to Linux titles do not count.

    this is what all about - to push their own hmd:D

    Me personally have disabled updates long time ago (since my upgrade from win8). It was disabled due this stupid meltdown patch which i obviously don't want to be installed
