1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

A few updates in the last 6 months.

A secondary display (21.5" 1080p) to complement my main display (40" 4K). Other than TeamSpeak, I'm still trying to think what would be useful to display during a race. Race standings would be good but I don't think AC outputs that info.

Momo Mod 27/C rim. Much nicer to use than my previous Momo Team rim which I got rid of after a few weeks as it was very uncomfortable to grip.

    Hi folks,
I decided to build a racing rig when I still was not satisfied with 3 monitors placed on a desk. I could not find a good compromise between sense of speed, FOV, and cars/tracks being distorted due to FOV. I experimented with two possible ways how to setup the monitors before I started to build: First is same viewing distance to the center of all three monitors but lower horizontal FOV, second is different viewing distance to the center of all three monitors but higher horizontal FOV due to larger screen angle. From driving realism I was way more satisfied with the latter one. That also fitted my plans of keeping the total width of the rig low as I don´t have to much space in the room. I was inspired by the rig on this page (http://www.flash.ae/sim_rig/). However, I did modify the H-Shifter alignment slightly and made a completely different monitor stand to fit my FOV needs. The rig basically consists of:

-Whole bunch of PVC tubes 50mm diameter, 2.4mm wall thickness.
-Some wood, a lot of screws, black spray color and carbon foil.
    -G27 wheel, shifter, pedals.
    -Thrustmater TH8A shifter.
    -Triple Dell U2414H.
    -Leather seat from local scrapyard.
-Lenovo 7" tablet and Samsung Ace 2 for dashboard.

    What else:
-The monitor stand is completely decoupled from the rest to avoid shaking at fast wheel changes and manual shifts.
-G27 H-shifter is modified to work as a sequential shifter and can be rotated by 90 degrees to a position where it does not disturb the use of the Thrustmaster H-shifter. That way you can either use paddles or sequential shifter or H-shifter, whatever you prefer or suits the car.
-The seat itself was only 30 Euros at a local scrapyard. Seat alignment is still full functioning within the rig.
-Total dimension of the rig is 150x120x120cm (LxWxH).
    -Horizontal FOV is ca 170°.

Just built my first rig yesterday having previously used a fairly flimsy stand and a dining chair, what an improvement!

Rig is a GT Omega Pro + RS6 seat, with a T500RS with pedals (including basher brake mod) plus TH8A shifter.

I would recommend to anybody considering getting a proper rig: Do it! Do it NOW!

This is my working in progress setup... I've recently replaced my 10 years old desk with this new wooden desk, very solid. The seat is also old and not the most comfortable for racing but i'm used to this. I'm looking to upgrade it as soon as i have money with the playseat challenge because i have little space and maybe a T300 RS wheel. I've also recently bought this lg ultra wide 29 inches free sync monitor 2560x1080p IPS panel and it is really awesome with AC. Planning to get a 2nd one to replace the 24' Benq.

Hey Thomas (and margmagas a bit above),
Unfortunately I don't have any building plans for the rig. I mainly built it from the photos of that one homepage I linked. I used a few scratches but threw them away because they did not resemble a plan. However, if you really are interested in the individual lengths and types of utilized PVC tubes let me know and I will measure the stuff and create some sort of semi-professional plan. Just drop me a message.

    Greetings,
    Knightly_
