1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Once you've finished laughing at Clarkson with his comedy hair & BBC accent, fast forward to 8m20s to see Tiff Needell battling with a Sierra Cosworth on the Brands Hatch Indy circuit.

    The way he's sawing at the wheel around Paddock Hill Bend and Clark Curve shows what a handful that car was.

    A bit more grip available with our Ferrari I think.

    It looks like the recovery rate can't be changed on PC. I think I remember this coming up before in a previous challenge.

    I guess I'm still drunk if I decided to give that car a chance. :D
    It might have a lot more grip and whatnot but I'd happily exchange it for the Sierra. There's some mod on RD, but I didn't try it. I remember there was a mod few years ago but at some point updates just stopped, it was a handful to drive.

    2 laps because this car as few others (mostly new-ish and on slicks) need some time to get the tyres to optimal grip, so I'm using charging on the first lap and just push the tyres. Second lap is in qualifying mode, I think it runs out of the juice somewhere in the last sector. Can't be bothered with it though, all that hybrid, KERS, ERS, DRS, gofasterbuttons cars need too much attention that distracts me from the driving itself... which isn't that great in them anyway.

    Yeah we don't have an option to change the recovery percentage on PC. Finally a disparity that isn't playing in favour of the PC guys, eh? ;)

    mistakes over mistakes - but! some things are really good, some corners, brakepoints, gears - sometimes really good. :)
    and that is so much fun. when you know - the last hundred meters were really okay. :)
    one lap was more than 0.5s faster after the first corners. :cool:
    much earlier breaking, earlier pedal to the metal :cool::cool:
    - but can not do it again (at the moment).o_O
    so much to learn ;)

    installed rsr live timing. now with the much better internet speed there are many things that are new. have waited for this speed since... 2000 or so. long time.:(
    Does anybody know if there is a chance that RSR will continue? Think its all bout the money. So if there is a chance it makes sense for me to donate a little.

    Should've given myself more time to try this one. FXX K actually became one of my favorites to race around the Nordschleife in the later months of 2018, having then become properly acquainted with it. No idea how I overlooked this machine for so long! I'm actually surprised with this time, considering the last time I played AC was probably back when I submitted a time with the McLaren F1 at Laguna Seca. And yes, crashing a 918 Spyder at the Nordschleife over, and over, and over again to start off 2019 wasn't making me feel good about the unforeseen hiatus.

    Not to mention, been having too much fun with my motorcycle. Even dropped it once trying to take pictures of it first day of the year. Ever so slight incline and neutral near a friend's driveway were a disaster in the making, but thankfully no major damage. Also slipped on a Delkevic muffler the other day to finally pass our local safety inspection here (having failed weeks prior with my GP-style tip) and hit what should be the bike's top speed on the way back home, with the GPS app clocking 130 mph (209 km/h). I'll be looking for 250+ km/h potential in my next bike! Well, if not something with three cylinders like a Yamaha MT-09 or Triumph Daytona 675...
