That's good to know because some times I wonder how it can be done. ACC seems to require even more attention than AC did, the HUD is a distraction and every time I even glance at anything inside the cockpit I've wandered across the road or missed a braking point.

 

who eats beans for breakfast? maybe I'd need to start eating to go faster

 

As far a tire temps go, don't need/want them on HUD, but would like to see them after a race.

 

I'll never forget what an alien showed me in simracing some year sago.

The track was Magny-Cours, the game was rFactor, and I was blaming the setup, bla, bla, this, bla, bla, that.
He took the wheel and put a lap time better than I ever could.
I asked "what did you did to the setup", and his reply was "I not even loaded your setup, it's default"

 

Aye I agree. But I do like the new top center session info (just to know how left) and the radar... It's game changing since I don't have the same spatial awareness of a real car
Sometimes in race I'm asking myself... What's my position? Where am I? What's the answer to life, the universe and everything? Then I just drive and have fun

Curious & baffled at the same time... Why do I take a 60 FPS on a full MP server when no cars a rendered visible in a practice session, my CPU is not maxed out (<60%), ram memory is plenty, pagefile is plenty and my 1080 ti GPU is doing just fine. Why do I go from 140 FPS in SP practice session down to 80 FPS?

I have an open thread (https://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/...s-drop-in-sprint-race-practice-session.55003/) regarding something similar however that is related to SP Ai sessions.

Since it seems unlikely, that the 1.0 version will be released in the next weeks (apologies if I'm wrong), are there any plans, that we will get some more EA releases?

 

Yes, but we are sim engineers as well as sim racers. Engineers need data.

 

This is one of the things which worries me most currently. As good as the game can be, it has unfortunately a big amount of small issues. We are still more in the alpha stage than beta and i feel the game needs about 3 more months in the oven to get rid of all those little things based on the speed of progress since introduction.

 

Talking about the rain, I do not like to run. The vast majority think alike, I think. But the dynamics that the rain brings to a race is undeniable.

I will always use the random weather option. The uncertainty that the race condition can change makes this sensational.

 

We should get maybe three more EA-months until Version 1.0.

For me 0.6 was a huge upgrade overall depending on my playing time as well. Now everyone knows about the improvements but it‘s quite clear that the ea-phase has to be extend because now we can test the whole game if there are still some bugs in the 1.0 version of the game it‘s defintely too late.

Would be nice to hear some infos from the devs about the further development.
