1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Best you start with only ‘yaw’ in the faceapi settings. I have lowered the curves to make it less responsive.

Play with the curves to find a setting you like and later try to add roll and/or pitch. Maybe you have to tick the invert box for yaw at the home screen of the program. Also map a reset/center button.

    Have fun!

I'm finding lots of issues, do not manage to understand curves at all. Also il seems that the movement start nice and gradual and then snap too much.

    Hard to explain

    Hi everyone.
I'm reading here that TrackIR support is in beta, but I only find reference to TrackIR 5 wich has a different profile type and management software than my TrackIR 3Pro .
So my question is : is it TrackIR 3Pro supported and working? Or will be? I see that other software for head tracking are working.
Sorry but I could not find the answer elsewhere.
    Thank You in advance!

I've also been trying to get FaceTrackNoIR working so I can use my Tobii Eye Tracker to emulate TrackIR. I was having the same horrible flickering/ghosting issue and solved it by capping my frame rate at 60fps in ACC options (this is not the same as enabling vsync). I've got a G-Sync monitor meaning the refresh rate was way above 60fps.

Here's a little clip of it in action. Would be cool if ACC could offer native Tobii Eye Tracking support (like F1 2018, 2019, ATS, ETS2) but using FaceTrackNoIR is an acceptable workaround.

Super thank you very much it works perfectly! I also have a G-Sync 144hz screen. It also works by blocking in the game the image of 60 to 110 images (120 causes a little visual bug)

  9. Finally able to play the sim and share what ACC is.
Knowing that this (trackir support) is a first for UE4 games, I would like to give a very special thank you for the devs.

Cannot get my TiR to "invert". All my head motions are opposite in game. Very confused and frustrated at this point.

To correct this problem ... 2 solutions:
    - have a look at the 1st message of this thread for a ACC profile
    - or simply choose your prefered profile with your prefered settings and just select YAW and PITCH and just tick "Invert"

The moves will be easily corrected.
NB: I chose the 2nd solution in order not to have to begin with tweaking the settings. ;)

Yes, I’m drive with facetracknoir and pseye cam. Make smooth S curves for yaw and pitch. Disable translation and zoom. Works fine.

Is it possible for you to post a picture of the curves?

    Thanks in advance.

Will do, when my PC is back up and running. Mid-way through a rebuild at the moment...

Those settings look very reasonable. What happens after you exceed a head rotation of 50 (yaw)? Does the picture stay there until you turn your head back within range?

Dont know for sure. I normally dont get to 50, because i lose the facetracking.

Lately i’m experimenting with the aruco marker and opentrack. @GroteBakkes wrote about it in another thread and its faster than facetracknoir. Still need some tweaking because its still to shaky for me :)
