1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory.
  2. FOR ASSETTO CORSA COMPETIZIONE: If you report issues with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder!
  3. If your game executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, then run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether.

To use TrackIR, please do the following:

A basic TrackIR user profile that has all the relevant settings and some basic, neutral curves applied so you can have a good starting point with a functional profile (you can finetune the curves for different responses or use a different center key mapping, etc...) is included in the attachment of this post.

The profile needs to be copied into this folder: C:\Users\YOUR_USER_NAME\AppData\Roaming\NaturalPoint\TrackIR 5\Profiles

The profile needs to be selected via:

Beautiful! I will wait a bit until owners have figured out how it works in ACC and then buy a TrackIR device. Thank you :)

Can anyone confirm if this works with other devices through opentrack or does it require a track IR?

Some notes for Track IR users:
    1. any profile can be used
    2. the axis must be inverted, so check "invert" box for all axis used in profile
    3. "exclusive" box must be checked to avoid hovering around

    Adding to the above:
    • disable x, y and z because it causes hovering

Yes, managed to get on last night and use opentrack successfully as well. No issues, but needed to invert all axis from their usual setting.

Unfortunately I am getting a flickering ghosting effect. The view moves around, bit a flickering ghost image is constantly displayed as well with the standard straight ahead view.

got the same problem and dont know how to fix this.
get the head movement now working but with this flickering you cant play at all.
im using a 60hz TV screen with 1920x1080 and in the other games (ETS/ATS) i never see such a problem.
    any ideas?

Had the problem that the view was all over the place and moving around even if the reflector was out of sight.
Turns out: My display was set to "Windowed". For whatever reason, as the display was always, in fact, fullscreen.
I switched it off, now TrackIr works like a charm.
    Thanks for the implementation!

Interseting. Mine has always had Fullscreen=Enabled in the options. When you say "Windowed", whch option/setting are you referring to?

well, while it helped with flickering (thanks for posting the advice :) ), it also makes my PC cry :-/ lowering the full resolution helped with the FPS, but it's still far from ideal. I'd like to see it fixed before the final release of the patch.
