1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Im just jumping in to help out since our beloved leader has stepped down.

    RSR best lap: Unlisted? It appears that no one has registered a lap in the P4/5 around this track!

    P4/5 Competizione is a one off race car created by SCG that raced the 24 Hours of Nurburgring in 2011 and 2012.

    How to take part:

    To enter the AC challenge, set up a Hot lap with the car and track, (for ACC see conditions.)

    Please use the following format to post your times to be included on the leader boards:

    * Your name (as you would like it to appear on the leader board)
    * Your fastest lap time - shown as x.xx.xxx.
    * Your platform (PC Xb1 PS4)
    * Screen shot showing your time.
    (Optional but in the spirit) Your thoughts or any comment.
    Please post video clips and share information here as well.
    To submit a time, pause the game and select 'session' from the menu and screenshot this page or take a photo of your screen and post it in this thread - Note all the information from the screen is required including temperature, lap mode, weather and of course the car being used!
    You can run as many laps as you can manage and update your times as often as you like. It is all about taking part, pushing yourself and enjoying Assetto Corsa. All Platforms are welcome.

    Car works well here. Maybe a little stiff from the base aggressive setup. Some tweaks.

    The temperature starts at 25c and ends at 37c. Keep that in mind when setting your pressures.

    I had to raise the front 1 mm and lower the rear 1 mm and I increased the rear bar two clicks I think. I also increased rear wing one click.

    You really need to have confidence to throw it in to the turns and that the rear end is going to stick.

    After the back straight, you have the right sweeping turn then the two right turns before the Left, you need to make sure you cut those two right turns to make up a lot of time. I believe as long as your left hand tires are on the curb you're still within track limits.

    Small improvement. Needs more tweaks. Rear end is still a little wild on corner entry.

    Tweaks I am going to do, one click rear diff, rear bar 2, lower rear one more mm.

    I'm happy with that. There's a very high 1:25 if I string all the sectors together, but that's me done for this week :)

    I had another go :rolleyes:.

    Increased the rear bar by two clicks, whether that made the difference or I'm just getting rid of the sim rust I'm not sure.

    I may have another go tomorrow as there's a 1:25.4 in there if I can be more consistent.

    It certainly didn't do any harm! I think your advice to increase the rear bar was probably more helpful :D

    This car is actually far better to drive than I thought it would be! More than happy with that time, I didn't think I could get it that low.
