1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Thrustmaster T500 RS problem on Assetto Corsa PS4

Discussion in 'PlayStation 4 Discussions' started by João Nogueira, Jan 17, 2017.

  1. Good evening

I have a Thrustmaster T500 RS with wich i play Assetto Corsa PS4 among other games.

Last sunday while i was playing Assetto Corsa PS4 it started automatically to pause the game (just like if i pressed the start button), this happens while making curves mostly right ones.

I leave you an youtube link so you can see what happens.

This only happens with Assetto Corsa PS4, i also tried with other games, and nothing occurs.

Would like to know if there is something i can do about this, or if anybody had same issue how to proceed.

    Thank you

Pc owner here but that sounds like a hardware problem, unfortunately. Like a switch contact is being made when you turn the wheel.

Am I right in assuming that you can not reassign the button used to pause the game? :(

  4. Not sure if its hardware because it doesnt happen on other games as i said in previous post

It was just an idea. Do you have any other games that use the same button as AC to pause?

  6. Yes, Project CARS PS4.

On the T300 - I used to get the random button press. It happens more at higher FFB - I would get it on pCARS but not on Dirt Rally.

What I did to fix was I took the wheel off the base and tightened down all the screws on the wheel rim, then also tightened the ones you can see in the center of the wheel base where the wheel attaches. (be careful not to over tighten and strip them though.. so do not use power tools or hulk strength turn those things)

Just something to try - not saying it is for sure your issue, but a rather common one with Thrustmaster wheels.

  8. Yesterday i configured the wheel rotation in game options to match T500RS's rotation, 1080º. Think it got better, will make more tries and check how it behaves.
Will take the wheel of the base and check all bolts too.

  9. Did 5 races today and so far so good.
    Will keep you updated.
Thank you for all the help.

  10. I'm on the t500 and I've never had this problem on ac
