1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    The faster guys out there, any hints on how to setup the car? I'm struggling to drop bellow the 2min mark, and while I've never been particularly fast, I feel like I'm not getting the most of the car setup-wise.

    I'm using default setup and got a 1.57.5 within 30 laps, I'm of course a god amongst men when it comes to driving so its to be expected......

    Just practise braking late, leaning on the ABS and carrying speed through the corners you can lean on the tires a fair bit in ACC which is really fun, untill you get down to 1.59s or probably lower I'd not even bother messing with setups :)

    Haha, that you are... What's your TC and ABS settings? I'm leaning towards 4/10 TC and 6/10 ABS.

    I don't know not changed anything lol In the end setup is mostly a waste of time unless you are within X time of pace, unless you can do say 5 laps in a row near exactly the same and whalst pushing a bit then all setup changing will do is confuse things as the driver is not at the level yet to realy know if the difference is from the setup or them just getting better at lapping.

    Mind you if a car is litrally flying off the track in some weird way or its got some insane setup by defult then changing setup can be good, the default with this car seemed fine to get my time with though.

    I am no professional, but I like to get used to the car first before I start changing setups on the car, I am doing 01.59.993 and I know I can do better. For me it's all about changing my driving behaviour. I've been watching some YouTube on different sim games witch gives me a good look on how to work with the pedals and gearing. This is probably not the advice you where after but it's something.

    I didn't buy the game nor tried. Sometime you understand stuff by messing around & drive completely wrong or had your vision wrong of whatever.

    Also don't overdrive the car in slow corners..you get also a lot of audio feedback for it, avoid it because you lose a lot of time doing that. Obviously watching some faster guys to understand the lines is great help as well! I think you can get below 56 already with the stock setup (and I am NOT fast, usually AT LEAST 1sec off the aliens) so do not worry about that yet!

    Still I don't believe that is a normal pace.
    Best lap is one thing but if you can keep that as a normal pace that would be crazy, but what do I know.

    I'm doing around 1:58 but I have this issue, I save some setup but then when I load them they are somehow corrupt since most of the values are at 0 instead my earlier values. Any suggestion?

    I tried to save setups and all values are saved as 0 so they are lowest you can adjust. :eek:
