1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Yeah I'm going to make an effort finding time to compete in these, I've followed them with interest for sometime. This was a good week for me to start as Monza is the circuit I have the most hours in. I don't know many tracks that well, particularly in AC, so this week will most likely be my most competitive going forwards!! :D

    god this is an hard track to master.
    It feels like I’m loosing a 10th or 2 on every corner by not carrying enough speed through.

    The second chicane and second lesmo are where I typically gain or lose the most time. But I agree it's a tricky track to master - there's not that many corners but they're all pretty technical.

    Took me about 3 goes to do this when really should have been testing fuel / pit strategies lol

    Further lowered final drive, took some getting used to a few corners where the gear required had changed, also still forgot to adjust PSI for softs!

    I have pretty much 8 tenths to find from somewhere, oof :p

    Couple of quick questions for you seasoned WHC'ers - what are the optimum tyre pressures after they've settled in AC for GT3 cars? In ACC it's 28psi. What's the score with fuel load? Is it discounted in hotlap mode? And finally, can you adjust the engine map? I notice on the stock setup it's set at 2...

    27 psi is optimal iirc
    Hotlap mode disables wind but fuel load works realistically - not fixed to a certain value or reset when crossing the line, same with pressures, temps and tyre wear also not reset when crossing the line as in ACC.

    Still can’t break 1.50
    I love it but the prob with this particular combo is your not losing 10th here and there , get a corner wrong and is half a sec.
    the amount of time I just catch the kerb and takes that fraction longer to get the grip again and the laps gone. Practice practice throw toys out the pram and practice again!
    Happy with this lap, still searching for a set up so if any of you sub 1.50 era care to share it might give me false hope to try again.

    I am delighted though to be within 3 sec of leaders maybe I can get a drive with Williams .

    Tweaked my set up a bit tonight, prefer it but too tired to get it all together in one lap..... @Chaos_Chris FWIW basically I've increased tyre pressure a little (more on FR), TC 7, ABS 6, real wing 2, stiffened the front and softened the rear a little, increased power diff + 1 click, Lowered coast -1 click, BB 65. If I can't improve my next step would be to look at the fast dampers to see if I can attack the curbs in parabolica more aggressively, feel I am slow through there.....

    Ok,i've finnaly dragged my a... into my rig and did a 1.53 on softs all the rest on default.Considering how long it's been i'm very pleased with that time.I didn't take a screen shot cause i just wanted to see how far off i was i literally did 4 laps.Now the hard work starts:eek:
    ps,it felt bloody nice!!!:D
    pps,i was unfaithful to AC.I did have a little play with gtsport a while back just to ease myself into it again but that lasted only a few laps,sssssshhhhhh,don't tell anyone:eek::eek:

    That's the beauty of Monza, it may seem simple but the price of not getting any corner spot on is high. I know it's a marmite track with a terrible T1 reputation on-line, but I find it a fantastically challenging circuit to try and get a fast time on.

    I must of angered the driving god's,kids been off school with cold so haven't managed to get a lap in n the missus bought a new unit for TV raising it a good couple of inches,that can't be good. might have to dig hacksaw out when she not about.
