The Challenge:

Car: Lotus Evora GTC
Track: Barcelona Moto








This little Lotus has a few more setup options than the typical street car but if you can dial it in, it will reward you with a driving experience that is unlike most other mid engine sports cars. Barcelona Moto is the preferred version this week, as no one likes the chicane in the GP version. Turn 4 can be tricky if you don’t have enough rear wing.

To enter, select Drive > Hotlap, choose the and the Barcelona Moto circuit. Please setup the session using the settings below:

Deadline: Sunday June 13 2020.


You can run as many laps as you like and update your times as often as you like, it’s simple All Platforms are welcome, it is all about having fun and enjoying Assetto Corsa.


To submit a time, pause the game and select 'session' from the menu and screenshot this page or take a photo of your screen and post it in this thread - Note all the information from the screen is required including temperature, mode heading and of course the car being used!

We are going full on German this week team....I've not driven a Porsche or the Nurburgring for a while, mainly because I'm not much cop at either so a chance to practice both. Usual drill, 10m hotstint for a single timed lap:

I was enjoying myself while I was testing for this weeks combo, so I kept putting laps and I started tweaking the tune and getting faster. This is what I came up with for a setup so far.

Softened rear springs 1 click, increased diff to 100, trying to cure the snap oversteer in corner entry.

First time for me in this car. A bit tricky at turn in but plenty of grip available overall - good balance. I lowered it as far as I could, reduced camber to -2 at the front and softened the supsension a bit. That is basically all.

Ok guys I just found out that its possible to share ghost car laps!!!! So not only can we post videos of our laps to help people out now we can share our ghost laps which I think will be much more useful for people.

There is a ghosts folder in My Documents directory that also houses your saved setups. In the ghosts folder you'll see the files for ghosts generated. The file name reflects the track, car and driver name.

To share, you need to upload the file. The person downloading it needs to save it in their ghosts directory and then edit the file name so that the driver name reflects their own. You need to use the same name that you're using in AC, so in my case its HeyZeusss666. I have changed my name to DRIVERNAME so its easy to rename the file with your ac name.

Please try this out and let me know how it worked!!!!

I tried to upload the file to the forum but it wouldn't recognize it. I put in on my google drive. When you save the ghost lap it needs to go in Documents/AssettoCorsa/Ghostcar/ksbarcelona. Make sure to change DriverName to your name first!

I am not a fan of Lotae at all and I find the car very inconsistent. Mid corner is really "hit or off." After a few laps all four tyres pressures are wildly different too, hotter on the left of course.
This could be a result of my driving.
I'm having another go... I reckon Pr might give us a couple more hours!!

Thanks for the extension @Pretend racer and although annoyed at my inconsistent driving, this is a fun challenge.

Congrats to our ACC players who all managed to score a podium this week. Feels like summer here in Canada so I'm guessing simracing will be taking a backseat to life for most people.
