1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Don't have the time to test now thouroghly unfortunately, but this really caught my eye, i know there are slim chances for this to be taken look at, but would LOVE if there aren't 1000 yellow turn signs on every turn, it can't be like this in the US of A? It really distracts me and it's too console-like.

    Thx for bringing the KTM to its old strength. It's much more like in early access now. The "I want to kill you with any kind of oversteer" attitude is gone. Much appreciated.

    Abarth 595 felt a lot sketchier in high speed corners than I expected... then I looked at the rear cambers. +1.5. Ok then. They sure liked to live dangerously in the 60s.

    It's not. They went way overboard with the signs in general. A lot are also fictional and the one common sign that is missing would be the advisable speed for a corner. It's very common while driving a curvy road for a sign to tell you the recommended speed for the corner. A lot of the time it is much slower than you can actually take the corner, but I believe it's more of a case where it could be raining or bad weather in general. There may be a few of the yellow turn signs on any given turn, but not 10+ like is seen here for every turn.

    First impressions with the C7 on all 3 Black Cat layouts are GREAT! Physics and sound differences are very apparant.

    One thing I noticed is that on neither of the 3 Black Cat layouts the telemetry is working.

    glad to see Kunos adding more stuff into digital_intruments !! cool!
    perhaps once even more stuff gets added, they could consider something like [PAGE_0] [PAGE_1] and key that will be switching that ! :)

    I'm not that impressed with Black Cat, cool road but too wide for my taste and a bit too short, but good effort nonetheless, anything else is spot on though, can't wait to try it home with the steering wheel :D.Good job Kunos, btw, those billboards are evil ;).So, Takumi-spec AE86 and Ridox Supra? :D

    Don't know if it's the same in the US but when we (in the UK) have a speed limit specifically for the corner then the speed in the sign is determined by the stopping distance vs visibility around the bend, idea being that if the road is completely blocked then you should be able to see it with enough time to stop. I always thought it was the speed at which the bend could be taken and so also thought they were wildly conservative with the limit, only after having to attend a speed awareness course :oops: was my misconception corrected

    Yeah I agree. The track itself looks great, but I think the guy who planted these signs went a bit crazy here. (And the other signs too, if you ask me)

    I don't know how it's in USA for real, but I wish the amount would be cut like at least into 50% (remove every other). It looks a bit cheap and "hey idiot turn now" which I know was partially the meaning of this track, to be easy test ground for sim noobs. But after you learn the track, I wish it wouldn't be just "tutorial" track but something that also experienced simmers can enjoy and race in MP. These signs made me feel "this doesn't fit assetto corsa"... They stick out like a sore thumb in otherwise stunning looking track. I really really hope this is changed. Half or 1/3 of the signs would be enough.

    Only had the time to test it out for about an hour, but wow, what an update.

    It definitely all looks up to snuff now from the tracks I tried. Ready to be put on next-gen consoles with no shame. Looks great. I like the redone car selection images, too.

    The new tire physics are really good. I can never pin down exactly what it is with these sorts of tire changes, but everything feels more organic than ever. Tire app has long been necessary and it's great to have it as well. I can finally start seeing what my setups are doing to the tires specifically.

    Corvette and Mustang seem very well done, but mostly aren't my type of car. Corvette is close, but still has that American long gearing that saps the excitement from it, in my eyes. Handles quite nicely, though. Mustang sounds great. Haven't tried the Fiat yet.

    I only did 2 quick(well actually very slow!) surveys of Black Cat short and it's decent. Definitely need to spend more time with them.

    Cant wait to get back in. If not tonight, then tomorrow. :(

    hmm there is a new, second onboard camera closer to the dash ... :) and Stingray accually sounds good, Mustang bit digital :) .. me like it ... C7 and Mustang are not driving as I expected them to drive though ... what you think about them ?
    Also I`m surprised how fast are track loading .. it is like 7-10 seconds for full length black cat county .. while downoading R3E on the same drive ... also performace is pretty fine ..

    I agree with the complaints about over-signage on Black Cat, but that's a minor complaint that in no way detracts from how great it looks and drives overall!

    The second best argument I can make for removing most of the yellow corner arrows is that they're unrealistic. The best argument I can make is that you'd see more of the glorious scenery that way.

    Tires feel incredible at first impression. Really liking all of the cars I've tried so far - that goes for mods on v6 and official cars on v7.

    Sound update is huge. Changes the feel of the entire game. You could've made just the sound mod a standalone update and it wouldn't have seemed weird... great job on that.
