2 screens possible?

Some time ago i tried using two monitors with the app in this thread and it was looking fine but my system couldn't handle three monitor to render. So I was thinking: is it possible to render two screens with Eyenfinity (or whathever it's called) and then to rotate the view so that the wheel isn't in front of the bezels? I mean, maybe using an app like Realheadmotion which simulates a trackir, or directly through some python code (I remember that with an update they made possible to change the view with apps but I'm not a coder so I don't know if it's feasible). It would be really great, I miss being able to see the mirror.

nvidia surround doesnt work correctly with 2 screens. It defaults to using your left monitor as 1 and right monitor as 2 which then causes issues in the game. Best thing to do is to make a copy/backup of your video.ini file in your documents/ac folder.

Then edit the original changing the following settings:

Fullscreen: 0
Rendering: Triple
Resolution: 5760 x 1080 (for people with a 1080 primary monitor)
Resolution: 7680 x 1440 (for people with a 1440 primary monitor) - you can maybe use the 1080 resolution but you might notice bars on your screen as full screen is set to 0

That should be it, the game will use your primary monitor as the center and the left or right monitor as the cockpit or door mirror view, you will loose FPS because you are essentially forcing the game to run in triple screen mode but you only have 2 so despite the missing screen the content is still being rendered.

I had to drop down the AF/AA samples and the cube mapping for reflections, i also dropped down smoke as it looks crap anyway but its a resource drain to ensure i can still hit 60fps.

People with random second monitors i dont know how well this will work or how much you will see, its best to do this with monitors of the same resolution/size imo.

If you use your left monitor as your secondary then you will be unable to get to the app bar, to do this hit Alt+Enter and the screen will change to full screen on your primary display, you can then use your mouse to pick the apps but be warned it isnt easy to see and you might have issues with the mouse movement on the 3rd screen.

If you use your right monitor as your secondary then you can use the app bar as normal but any apps that appear on the missing screen will be useless so again use Alt+Enter and try and move them.

I did try SRWE but found the above a better solution that works without having to mess about with a separate program however SRWE does work. Its personal preference.

Dear Bailey, this still working for you?

if I do this (1 screen 1920x1080 22" and Another of 1920x1080 23"), the wheel is centered between the two monitors, and it's horribly.

I need to change the width to 5760.. that works, but isn't the best way (My Graphic cards doesn't happy with this hehe).

I have a 24" widescreen (1920 x 1200) and a 20" 4:3 (1600 x 1200) and I have it set (for a few months now) as tripple screen with custom settings like descripted by Eximo.
It takes a lot of performance because it's tripple screen and you only have only 2 of the 3 screens but it works perfect! The steering wheel is on my left screen (widescreen) and the other screen is on the right soo I see alsmost the full width of the car (but not the external mirrors).

That works for me too.. But my graphic card it's on the limit.

Grrr, dual screen native support (EXACTLY LIKE LFS) might be fantastic..

I have been running single screen the whole time except for this threads research purposes. My GTX 660 is (was) not able to run a race with triple screen rendering. You may be able to tinker with the resolution and run 1280 x 720 and make that the starting point for your triple screen, which would come out to 3840 x 720 (instead of 5760 x 1080). That should help out your card a bit.

when i try to load the track with my 2 screens setup, after the yellowbird update (today) i get this error:

could not find a suitable video mode, check your video settings

i have to go back to one screen?

Why can't ACC give an option to be able to show wing mirror images on 4" or 5" 2nd screens... Not everyone can fit a triple screen setup in their rooms. I would welcome a way to be able to just show side mirror image on another small screen that I can setup at either side of my main monitor
