1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Is the code public? I‘ve made a similar app for raceroom and it calculated fuel for the following sessions itself. I am not sure if the acc api contains data such as race session length, but I would like to give it a try and with this I wouldn‘t have to start from scratch. ;-)
    Great app by the way.

How are you able to show this app in VR? This would help me out a lot if I could get it to work.
    Thanks in advance.

i got it done with crew chief. Nice! I was looking for a good solution to display apps in vr for a long time now.

Well i did this that time with CrewChief but now i do all with SteamVR itself. You have there the Option to Take any Window on your Desktop and put it on your VR Controllers or place it somewhere in the VR Space around you.

Thanks for the fast reply mate. I got it working with crew chief yesterday, but I‘ll give this a try. Looks promising.

could you have a look into this, when on a multiplayer server I don't get readings from the tyres. But tyres only:

I can't reproduce it. It worked for me. When did you take that screen shot - i.e. had you just pitted? Left pits? On track?

I sometimes also notice this problem.
It can happen, after session switch (free practice to qualifying for example).
As workaround I close Engineer and open it again after session switch.

I always - ALWAYS - hit Reset Readings when I pit. It seems to completely eliminate this.

Hey @WallyM I recorded a video for you so you can follow along what I am doing.
If you'd like me to do or provide anything else, please let me know.

Thanks for the video. It made it easy for me to diagnose the problem.

New version is uploaded - resets all readings when you leave the session.

    Happy New Year mate :)

I don't know it's intended to be like that but your app is reseting all values as soon the session is changed.

So it becomes very useless for me :(

Is there a way to make the resets optionally so the app will keep the values until the reset button is pushed?
It would be much more handy.

Or you might be able to point me to an older version :)

    New version:

1.5.3.0, Jan 3, 2022 - added "Auto-reset readings after session" option to turn off auto-reset of readings at the end of a session.

  17. Wow :)
Thank you for the quick response.

    Good Sir, you're awesome.

  18. Sorry but after testing the new added option do nothing at all for me :(

    No matter the
    "Auto-reset readings after session"
is checked or unchecked the app keeps deleting the value as soon as the session is changing

I've tested in SP and MP.

Maybe it's just me. So please can someone recheck the functionality?

    Greetings After _Midnight

I found another place where the readings were reset - so I've fixed this and uploaded a new version.

Sorry for the late response but I was not able to to the test your new version until today.

The version 1.5.4.0 works flawless now. Exactly like intended :)

Thank you so much for your work :)
