1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Hi everyone,

    Firstly, we just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has shown us their support over the last few weeks! We are so unbelievably grateful to have such passionate players who spend many, many hours a week playing Assetto Corsa and take the time to chat to us across social media. It means so much to the team!

    So, what’s new? Well, we wanted to give you guys an insight into SOME of the things to expect as part of our next update on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, due later this month.

    • Framerate will be smoother and screen tearing issues have been resolved.
    • Players will be able to select their starting position in the race options screen.
    • On launching Assetto Corsa, the game will recognise the device you are using, when selecting the ‘X’ (PlayStation 4) or ‘A’ (Xbox One) button in the start screen.
    • Thrustmaster T80, T100 and TH8 shifter functionality has been improved.
    • A new option which allows the player to set the visual steering lock to any degree is coming.
    • 2 additional difficulty levels – 'Very Easy' and 'Very Hard'.
    • AI strengths have been re-balanced, in response to community feedback.
    A full list of additions, fixes and features will be published in due course.

    On behalf of the whole team, we want to thank our community for their incredible enthusiasm, passion and patience! Be rest assured, Assetto Corsa 1.0 on PS4/XB1 is just the start. As we’ve said numerous times before, we fully intend on building on these foundations, going forward. We’re excited and we hope you guys are too!

    Thank you for your prompt attention to the community feedback in resolving known issues. It is definitely a sure sign of a great developer who cares so much about making and refining a game that meets and well exceeds all simulator racing enthusiasts expectations.

    Hopefully Sony will not take too long approving the patch once it's submitted :)

    Really hoping that part of the work on the TH8a shifter is that it can be used plugged into the wheelbase ;)

    but do you have any Information about the missing leaderboards for the consoles ?
    leaderboards are the salt in the soup for every competition.

    Great news but some of those fixes are irrelevant when more important things need to be added...wheel calibration/pedals along with assigning buttons on wheels also the private lobbie issue.Dont get me wrong im playing assetto on pc and console and i wont be stoping any time soon but alot of console players haven't experienced the superb pc version which has everthing and more so they are not getting the full sim which is a shame.

    Can you shed and further light on this please ? Does it mean those who use the TH8A shifter with a T300 wheel will finally be able to connect it to the wheel base with the round DIN connector instead of the USB on the PS4 ?
    Also, any word on being able to select a gear when using manual H shift cars (and those with sequential gears) BEFORE the starting lights go out ? For clarification, as it is now, you can't hold the car in gear with the clutch disengaged when the lights first appear (like it is in real life situations), then when the lights go out, release the clutch to control the start.
    With manual cars, the problem is there's a slight delay between the lights going out and the [virtual] driver putting the car in gear, then you have to release the clutch to go, by which time an AI car has either passed you, or hit you from behind !
    Of course, we would need false start detection enabled which is just how real life races are monitored. Doing this will greatly improve realism, and also allows greater control of your launch off the line.
    Finally, any good news on wheel and pedal calibration? I use a T300 wheel on PS4 and when going in a straight line, there is a noticeable deadzone where no FFB information is conveyed unless I turn slightly. Also, pedal calibration because sometimes I'll miss a gear change because I can't adjust the saturation point or sensitivity.
    Apart from these omissions, I'm loving the driving aspect with the fine physics.
