1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

PS4 Custom button mapping with Thrustmaster F1 wheel

Does anyone here have the F1 wheel for Thrustmaster wheels on console? Are you able to map functions to all the buttons? I'm considering buying the wheel, but I'm not sure whether AC will recognize all the buttons, because there are more than the standard wheel, and more than a PS4 controller.

I have the F1 Wheel on the T500RS. You can only map the buttons like on the controller. Someone told you can map the buttons twice but i didn't found that function.

Hrm. So just to be clear, looking at the diagram below, the only buttons that don't correspond to PS4 controller buttons are the two D-pads on the bottom. What happens when you press those? Nothing at all?

I may still get it, even if the D-pads don't map in AC, because I'd really love to have L3 & R3 on the wheel, instead of on the base. I also like the rotary encoder style buttons for things like brake balance.

They have the same function like the D-pad. Like left right up and down. These buttons can be map one time. Which choise is up to you. The left rotary button is also an D-pad function with up and down. The right rotary works perfect with the break balance.
I can advise the wheel. I have a much better controll with it. Hope this helps and sorry for my bad english.

Normally, you can map for example handbrake to "B" and KERS to "B" too.

I just tested out some double-mapping. I assigned Horn and Headlights to the X button (PS4). When the button is pressed, both functions are activated at the same time, so you'll want to take car when mapping buttons. For example, if you mapped Cycle Turbo and Handbrake to the same button, you'd apply the handbrake every time you adjusted the turbo.

That's why the most common double-mapped buttons are things like KERS and handbrake... There's no handbrake in an F1 car, so you can deploy KERS without activating the non-existent handbrake. It is a bit odd in cases where you have MGU settings and TC controls on the same button though. Kunos appears to have tweaked some car features (like eliminating TC on/off) in order to avoid conflicting button assignments.
