Stefano: please gives us a more formal way to get updates. If there was a customer facing place that people could visit to get real updates thy wouldn't be hunting on Facebook and Twitter and the forums for fractures pieces of info leaking. We appreciate all your updates on your personal profiles but include an official place that if its there then everybody knows it's true. The Assettto Facebook page tends to lag behind and the website (not the forums) is rarely updated.

Guys! Look at us hunting for info! That's because we love the game anybody caught by this just remember the joy you had dreaming of rain and go and drive the Lotus 49. The joy of that beats rain by a gazillion times. Saying that rain in pcars can be fun.

The kunos guys are probably really busy but I'd really like to see the short mugello track and the vln version of the nordschleife.

Honestly, I`d be happy if our hallowed masters just popped out whatever cars they have in store, and took the time to pop out the alt/short versions of all the tracks we`ve all been asking for. Yes, it will take some time to do the ai, etc, but it adds sooooooooo much to the sim for relatively little work.

Pwease.

Wait.... W H A T ? I thought Stefano completely ruled those out, especially rain! I wonder if it was on purpose so there is a hype afterwards, or that decision was based on the fact that AC is coming out on consoles now.

so we have a corvette cr7 as the 7th car (by the screenshots) but all i care of is the Ford Escort MK1 and this little racer

 

Are you sure that the Corvette C7 Stingray is the "mystery seventh car"? I thought it was intended to be a free update?

Who can say? The Fiat 500 Assetto Corse was allegedly intended to be free content as well.

 

I wasn't sure, but yeah, both the Assetto Corse and C7 were indeed announced as free content. Change of plans, I guess.

That's pretty funny, or maybe not. The thing about PRC is that this time they publish some good news about AC (although it turns out to be misinformation about rain racing), but it still gathers loads of AC haters littering the comment section. So I think the website has succeeded in having loyal AC hater readers. Or maybe considering how it ****s on almost every sim, it's succeeded in having loyal sim racing haters who claim to be sim racing fans. And this makes its recent article titled "Where is Everybody" feel very funny to me.

 

I have a feeling that somewhere deep in PRC there is a racer who died a little.

My dad used to be a chef and eventually he changed job cos his heart wasn't in it. it feels like the same has happened there but they haven't found an alternative career path so instead end up as the moaning old goat that nobody enjoys at work because everything used to be better in the old days.

In their most recent article they said they had an intense battle and everybody else was in different postcodes from each other. Personally based on an f1 race of similar durations it seems very similar to how car/skill/luck affects the final positions. I think 8th and 9th were barely separated. But you know what I think he might just be a glass half empty type of guy.

Never mind. I would have come away from that thinking that was a great battle. Nice race I hope everybody else enjoyed it too.

 

AC gets hate because its popular, the rule of the universe is that the more popular the more people will hate it.

 

Didnt Kunos did say a Ford GT GT3 is coming to AC too?

I really want that car in AC so I dont need to play R3E just to drive that car.
