1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Have you guys tried this sim by Reiza Studios?...I just downloaded the demo and its amazing! Its what rFactor2 was supposed to be and frankly the physics and FFB feel at least the same if not even better than AC! Great simulator, with many different series, tracks and car classes, fully moddable. Just try the full version 60 minutes demo and see for yourselves if you don't believe me!

    PS: They say it was developed for maximum realism with the support of teams and drivers and verified against real telemetry data, and is more than a game – it´s a simulation tool for professional race drivers.

    WHAT ? , the ffb is the same or better than AC , are you kidding ? , I have the lastest 1.30 of GSC and the game is good but I can`t for the life on me get a good feel from the ffb , its horrendous .....

    What wheel are you using and what settings? I have the Fanatec GT2 and it feels more "real" than AC, but you have to adjust the steering lock both in game and on the wheel setting.

    For me not only the FFB feels more realistic, but also for the motion sim. I use the Frex and you can actually feel the track surface and the bumps in the motion sim like in a real car something that AC and other still lack and I have had it since 2007 and tried it with almost every racing sim on the market!

    ffb setup for game stock car/stock car extreme is very simple imo, simplest there is along w/ rf2...maybe you have it reversed? otherwise you should just be able to adjust the strength till it feels right to you.

    The tracks from gsce seem to be more bumpy than the ones simulated in AC, which are from Europe. Try Nordschleife, has way more dynamics than other AC tracks which are more uniform.

    This is exactly where I noticed the difference. Nord is indeed more bumpy than others in AC, but you can feel it only in the steering wheel and not in the motion sim itself, like you do in GSC.

    Its not smooth and feels very bitty if you know what I mean , also the lock just doesn`t feel right , I have tried setting the lock / ffb in the gasme but I can`t find any base setting to work from , unlike AC which`s feels really smooth and responsive . How did you get your motion to work ? , I`ve looked all over the net for a plugin (I use lince software ) but can`t find one , I use a 2 dof setup ...

    Tested this before with T500RS and i didnt like the FFB. This was maybe 7-8 months ago so maybe they updated it. But i remember the feeling was far away from Assetto Corsa. I do like that there is so much setup stuff and lots of features though.

    For the motion sim you can get the plugin from the Frex website http://www.frex.com/gp/simcon/simconbase.htm

    For the steering try setting the wheel at 480 deg with the default in game steering lock, or go with 25 to 30 deg depending on the car if you leave it at 900 deg in the wheel.

    Just clicked the link for the plugin but it won`t let me download it as you have to sign in and I can`t see anywhere on the page to register etc ?
    Steve would I also need to run the software as well or will plugin work with my Lince software ?

    For Frex you need the login info from Shige. The plugin will work with any title listed there. You can email him at info@frex.com

    Also, you can use a third party software solution like this one: http://logykal.net/software/e69-motion/

    Maybe was the older version, but this new release (1.25 I think) is spot on! To update you have to use the sync feature.

    The most underrated sim. Clearly ahead of AC in FFB and tyre physics. Not as complex as rF2, but it has better package overall, imo.

    I totally agree with you. I didn't believe myself until I tried the demo, then bought it right away. After driving in it I can't go back to rF2. It may be more complex, but in terms of realism and feel rf2 its way behind GSC. Reiza did everything right. I hope they continue in the right direction with future updates.
