Game stock car

With the 1.5 and all the info, is Game Stock Car Automobilista still better?

In that case, has AC aproach to it?

 

better in what ?
Perosnaly physics, audio, immersion and FFB wise I`m still leaning towards Automobilista ... but than for road cars, since there are no road cars in AMS I`m glad for AC

 

For the overall game qualities, AC has so much to offer but, AMS has some very strong aspects that can make it shine in some areas. Both are great games IMO, and can co-exist nicely in the Sim-racing PC environment.

Playing AMS does expose a few of AC's lacking features, not deal-breakers by any means, just things that you may notice and miss in AC. Reiza is very proficient in the area of maximizing sound to enhance the interaction between car mechanics (engine, gearbox, clutch), sound and FFB, tires, etc. These things make AMS a bit more convincing and immersive to drive IMO. The intensity of the sounds working with the drive-train/gearbox model is just more fun when using an H-shifter. It's like the difference between seeing a great singer on stage and one that can connect better through emotion raising the hair on your body when they take it to that next level.

AC has beautiful graphics, an impressive list of wonderfully modeled cars - many of which are among the most-desired in the world, LS tracks, great mod support, versatile app support, very good FFB and physics, road cars, and much, much more to offer. AMS still has an edge in FFB, AI, and car mechanics working in symphony with the sounds that give the driving race cars greater intensity IMO but, both are great in their own ways and should be worthy to most that like Racing-Sims.

 

yep .. if question is "which one to buy?", only answer is: "Both!" .. if you ask to pick one, I`ll say: "throw in R3E too and enjoy all of them"
