1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

There is an option in the video settings within AC. On the first page iirc

I have been following the recommendation in this video, just studying apex, braking points and balancing pressures on different street cars / track combos online and I am glad to report that 2 things happened.
First now even the qualifying/practice time on the server are fun, before it was a little boring since I was not improving much and my lap time were very averaged.
Second, following @Aristotelis advice made me a better and faster driver. I race better because I have better control of my car and I am.constantly in the top tier, not ultra fast but faster than most.
In addition I can now see why some one is slow just by following him and see how he does not use all the track and I already know without watching my time if I am going to be .5 second slower or faster.
My online experience is much better now.

    Same as @Cote Dazur here.
I must admit that I´ve simraced a lot, but never really got into 2 things of setup: pressures and dampers. Sure, I´ve been reading countless setupguides, f.i. the GTR2/RACE07 guides back in the day, and just transfered what I learned back then. In AC however, I haven´t done much on setups except gears, wing and fuel. As for pressures, I think I even did the opposite, lowering the PSI when needing more heat, increasing PSI when needing cooler tyres, something like that. And for dampers, I´d just lower them on tracks like Zandvoort and be fine with it.
I was never the fastest driver, but an alround good racer, although racing/practicing a lot less than I used to.
So I watched Aris video, and thought "damn...I´ve never tried pressures like that?", and for **** sake, it actually works for me. I´ve raced only 2 races this weekend, AB servers with usually top 10 being within 2sec. Although I never did a pole in qual, I was able to gain stability and grip, ending up leveling tyrepressures at around lap 3 or 4 in each race, and from there I just kept improving laptimes. Overtaking 1-3 cars and eventually being P1, I won both races with hard work and very little gap to P2 and P3.
I´m quite sure that the right pressures gave me that bit I needed to be faster than I usually am, while having a balanced car that helped me control my tyres, even when wear came down to yellow.

Thanks @Aristotelis , it (your video) has somehow revived my joy of hotlapping again, while racing once again has a new angle for me setupwise.

    Cheers

I have noticed better consistency and my lap-times tend to improve as tire temps optimize. Pushing the tires enough to build heat is also something I can focus on.

Thanks to Aris' Go Faster videos - I now am doing just that! :)

Quick update, a month has past, I become a much quicker driver, applying those easy principle is almost secound nature, I am up to speed in a matter of about 50 laps when it seemed like mission impossible before.
I know now if I did good or not just by where I am positionnes in an apex.
More important maybe is that I enjoy driving in AC more than ever.
So thank you again @Aristotelis after years of driving in SIM i finally broke a performance barrier i honestly had given up braking.
When going on line, I can see a lot of driver who could take advantage of watching this tutorial and applying those easy to follow advice, as I now catch them and pass them so easily :D

    Hi,

Can you share any history on the Gutman 206 GTI that's covered in the channel? I have had 12 206 GTIs. I've even had one with an MI16 engine and one with a 2.0 Turbo 8v from a Xantia Activa. The Gutman is lovely!!
