1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

I love how modular AC is!

AC is built correctly from the ground up by making it modular, which in turn makes it easier for the community to create mods for the game. By having it this way, a 3rd party can recreate engine sounds, liveries, create new cars, the possibilities goes on!

Love how we can change out the car sounds and make modifications easily. I've never seen a driving sim so modular like AC.

    Excellent work!!!

I agree, it has tons of promise. I just hope the average car enthusiast will be able to learn the modding tools and add in their own cars and tracks :D

Exactly...most modders want to spend their efforts and times in making the quality content, not figuring out how to make it work in a confusing and a hard to implement system where you are provided "figure it out tools" that make you feel you are modding with half your brain tied behind your back... :)

...so far AC has been a welcomed and refreshing platform and I feel it has better things yet to come...

Using FBX as the file format was a genius move imo. It is so versatile and rock solid and most every 3d modeling package uses it. I literally cannot wait for the mod tools. The choices Kunos have maid will unleash a typhoon of content. It's going to be game changing across the sim community.

I wonder if it will be as moddable as Skyrim, for example, so not only content could be added but new features too.

It looks like it will be, not seen the C++ API yet but with Python and the shared memory support it looks good.

This is going to be the FSX of car simulators. I love the idea of having it set up this way. I love the in-game apps that you can choose what to display on the HUD and also set its location. Been wanting this forever and no sim has really offered this in the level of detail as AC. Looking forward to see some great and innovative things coming, such as the ability to have virtual gauges, speedometers, HUD, telemetry, g-force mete, track map, etc being displayed on tablets such as the iPhone, iPad.

Man it would be awesome to see a live replay camera view on your ipad with proper TV overlays during a race. This sim has so much potential.

oothx11380 that is a great idea, didn't even think about that. Definitely would be cool to have a replay cam on your iPad with optional overlay information that we can turn on or off.
