1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    seems like the car is designed for full aids on as it is after all a more powerful road car with improved handling. there are still some hints of understeer but it is a lot less than with all aids off.
    It's actually a fun car to drive when using ABS and TC. I thought i do 3 or 4 laps of silverstone international then ended up doing 15.

    Good job!! 1.8 seconds faster than I could get...I think I could shave a half second or so off but nowhere near that. The car drives better for me with assists but I still don't have any kind of "connection" with it.

    Glad everyone else is experiencing what I found, got to love how much detail the devs have put into this game in other games the assists work exactly the same on every car, in this its done properly.

    65% Stability with Level 2 TCS and ABS on makes this car start to drive how I would imagine it would. I can almost toss it around like the 458. I will have to do more testing but now it is fun enough that I don't mind. The car and I still can't come to terms with each other at Mugello but pretty much everywhere else we get along.

    I find it exactly the same as you, and if you read virtually any comparative review from a magazine of 458 vs MC-12C they seem to as well!

    Problem is does anyone if you can adjust the stability control in game? It's a bit of a pain to have to leave to go to the menu everytime.

    I too feel that 100% Stability kills the character of the car and that I'm sure with various in car settings IRL that you can have some slip and wiggle to chuck her about! Now, how does one set TCS to different values? sorry for the noob question, But I can't seem to set it in the assists section nor in setup. Cheers!

    With the new tire model I'm not using any stability and the car is very much more like what I thought it would be. Ctrl+T will cycle through the levels of traction control @tyresm0ke with level 1 being the most "obtrusive"; that is, it cuts the power the most.

    Yep, Trying the McLaren with just TCS 2 makes all the difference, I guess if I was really chasing lap time after lap time I'd add a little stability. The car already has some aspect of this in the sim -> pulling up the ECU app shows a Stability and ABS system by default, which is the AC way (and I approve).

    I think basically AC models the cars as they are IRL, thus the McLaren always has some Stability control and ABS. You can disable ABS by pressing CTRL-A in the sim.

    Great lap 1:52 at Imola in the Mclaren. But braking from 205kph from about 130 metres into the chicane. Or braking from 235kph at the 150 metre mark 2nd last corner. Who thinks this is realistic?
