1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Agree, though we know private lobbies are coming so i dont know why people keep banging on about them, at this point it seams like people have just got obsessed over them and mentioning them for the sake of it. Basically they sound like a broken recored.

    Even though private lobbies should have been in at launch, i find lack of leaderboards and data logging etc baffling. Dirt Rally even tells you your highest speed, furthest jump, average speed, miles driven.

    Could you please point out where on Earth I say Kunos is somewhat responsable for PS+ being needed for online gameplay? I mean, it went like this:

    > You said console players shouldn´t have private multiplayer for free because PC players don´t have it.

    > Then I say we´re already paying, so that argument is stupid.

    > Then you randomly jump off a logic cliff and say I said Kunos is to blame for PS+.

    I mean, there you have a text book strawman if there ever was one.

    For sure there is a game here, where you've got to pay for private server.

    Not arguing for or against it... however:

    To me, as a PS4 console player, it's difficult to compare Assetto Corsa with other games. The closest competitors are, as I see it (and from my game library), Formula 1 2016 and Project CARS. They both have private lobbies (right?) and F1 2016 has even got online championships while Project CARS has full replay. Yet it's Assetto Corsa that I've put all my time into because of the driving physics. So what to value the most? I prefer awesome driving physics and paying for private lobbies/servers rather than less-than-awesome driving physics and free private lobbies/servers.

    ... and it does seems like the private lobbies will be free, since it comes with an ordinary update.

    I just hope the developers don't confuse "private lobbys" with user created public lobbys, were we set the track, cars, conditions, lap count qualifying time ect.

    It's not quiet... There have been a number of updates and support are saying they will come with 1.13.

    What you have asked for minus the exact date has already been given. Maybe chill out moaning and maybe spend a little more time reading the actual updates then your moaning might be more factually accurate which is always a plus

    Private lobbies have been confirmed to be part of the next update (v 1.14 on PS4, 1.13 is just a hotfix for a "localization issue").
