1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Generic Some cars are well off.

    Wow. I'm barely touching them!

  2. Make sure they are calibrated properly before you use them on track (assuming the console is the same as PC). When you set off driving, press the brakes all the way to the floor a couple times, otherwise sometimes it can register the first small amount of braking at full brakes.

That should hopefully help, otherwise you'll need to turn ABS on.

Watch for faint yellow spots coming on the front tyres on that damage meter..
They can be sensitive but the 458 would have abs and the brakes will be setup with that in mind..

Just use factory ABS with 458.

To compare the Audi to real life would need first to have similar lap times. In real life trackdays most guys think they are fast and near limit, while they are nowhere near limit and laptime isn't great. They just feel fast, because real driving has so many elements to achieve that feeling, that sim doesn't. But compare laptimes.. and you might be onto something.

In sims we have to constantly and actively remind ourselves not to go over the limit, in reality it's exactly opposite, the mind wants to slow down and you have to constantly fight it. That applies to most (all?) amateur drivers who do trackdays, dunno maybe the OP is a seasoned pro race driver, but I somehow doubt it. If you get same (rather good) laptimes on Brands/Silverstone in reality, then your complaint holds some weight.

I don't drive the Audi Quattro much, it's possible that there is some adjustment needed (it doesn't have Tyre model 10 yet for example) but now and then on PC side someone complains and compares to their "massively different" trackday experience, and when discussed it turns out their laptimes IRL are complete ****, their car never understeers and turns/stops nicely, because they drove slow... and just felt fast.

I got to say though, for example the FXXK on slicks , I would imagine this being a sharp race car, and it doesn't feel like one
I mean obviously I never drove it in real life, so perhaps it's on performance tires rather then slicks,

I do doubt that it would be that wrong, so perhaps my expectations weren't realistic
