1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

  1. Whats wrong with the torque curve? Feels spot on for any modern turbo engine really.

@garyjpaterson: Well yeah, to me they feel a bit weird and un-adjustable due to how early and flat the torque comes on :D.You can modulate how the diff acts on an NA engine so much more effectively. But that's just my opinon ofc.I still think it drives really well.4 months of no AC have taken a toll on my driving abilities though.

  3. Feels a little dead on initial throttle to me tho. But I guess its to be expected.

  4. Late to the party but 33 Stradale and Performante are just brilliant pieces of machinery. Performante might be the first enjoyable modern Lamborghini with some actual turn-in-capability and Stradale.. Oh boy, how can you not like low powered but slidey historics? Mega.

Laguna is a great circuit too. Especially in VR.

Thank you Kunos! It was a brilliant journey since the beginning of an Early Access until this point! I'm glad I decided to hop in.

    Buon Natale.

Yeah, Performante is very good to drive, and they seem to be on the right track if this and the Aventador SV are anything like their real-life counterparts :D.

Quattroporte put me off a little with the same sound as other two Maseratis, especially that when checking rl onboards it's not such a raw sound. It's a boat, but not as bad as I thought it would be.

I tried the Performante in the 'Ring special event. Pretty much this:
The event itself is a nice challenge with default setup and HR tyres. Still haven't tried the Giulia special event with ST tyres, on HR it's not even close to being a challenge.

I did a few laps around LS in the Huayra BC, very fast, but not my kind of car. That's why I'm not even looking forward to try the Sesto, the only car left to try.

Especially after I tried the Stradale, it's awesome and the sound is great too (not sure how close to rl, didn't watch any videos), all those mechanical noises... And it's bloody quick too, not sure if it has a rival though. 250 GTO is too slow and Cobra is too fast. So far tried it only on Goodwood but I already call it the star of the pack.

Sesto motivates me to loose weight.

Laguna Seca is better and better within each lap, I like it more the more I drive it. Getting used to unusal color scheme and learning apexes, damn apexes in Laguna Seca are fancy. Also the track is probably the hardest one out there. I think Corkscrew can be abused a bit too much, though it is hard to say, because each time I drive through it, I'm like - what just happened now ? :D I like how the following curves are faster to coast than to speed through. Haven't done a single proper lap yet. Finaly got one good online race, so perhaps it is possible.

Yes, seems like 33Stradale will not be as fast as Cobra or RSR. In Goodwood it is about 2-3s slower, though still learning the car. Pushed it to greater pace yesterday, and really started noticing the bumpsteer, getting to know the charracter slowly. Very nimble, but needs to be handled VERY gently when on the limit. Note: when the car is planted, then it means it is not on the limit yet :)

Indeed! I thought it might be turbo lag although I assumed that didn't exist in any modern cars.

The Huracan Performante is now my favorite car in Assetto Corsa. This is how a modern Lamborghini should drive! This car wants to be pushed like no other street car I have in Assetto Corsa. I know that Kunos went all out to re-create the ALA (Lamborghini Active Aerodynamics) for this car and it sure feels to me like they succeeded. It only took 1 lap around Nordschleife to blow my mind. If you haven't seen the official Lamborghini video explaining ALA, here it is explained in less than 1.5 minutes:

I decided to check for myself...and I was pleased to see that Kunos recreated the front active spoiler perfectly:

The Active Front Spoiler is in the maximum downforce position in the screenshot above.

The Active Front Spoiler is in the Minimum Drag (Max Speed / Max Acceleration) position in the screenshot below:

Bravo to all the Kunos employees who worked on this car. It is magnificent. In fact, it is so good - I want you all to take Monday off from work. :D

Funny you say that. P cars laguna seca feels so fake to me. LS in Assetto Corsa feels just like the real thing and it has that uncanny feeling when in VR. In real life I often come out of turn 11 with a fairly aggressive slip angle and that's a fairly common "oversteer into the inner barrier" section for newbie drivers who turn off assists. So there's almost always people watching that corner from the 2nd floor stairway of the paddock garages (you can see the building on the corner of the pit entry). In real life I tend to glance at that building to see who's watching (strange habit) before braking for 11 and I'm catching myself doing the same thing in AC. And looking into the infield paddock as I'm heading towards turn 10 just reminds me of being there in real life. Then there's also the sound booth between turn 5 and 6. I find myself glancing at the booth at every pass just as I did in real life.

This is the first track in AC that I know in real life really well and it's as impressive as I have always hoped it to be. Even LS in iRacing (which is also laser scanned) does not give me these feelings. It just doesn't have the attention to details and craftsmanship that Kunos put into their version.

It’s interesting to compare the Kunos Laguna Seca and the versions I’ve driven in other games. Some the others are almost bizarrely inaccurate it seems. LS is a great little track, easy to learn but really challenging to get right.

The 33 Stradale is a great little car to drive, I just love these old cars with little power but hard tyres and no grip... The interior although quite simple must be one the best modelled in game also.

As an F1 fan of advancing years I was reminded of this.

Thank you Kunos for this free bonus content that most of us would not have hesitated to drop a few quid on. The cars and track are a blast, great fun, aaa quality.

Really nice gesture! Have a great Christmas and good luck for your endeavors into 2018 and beyond. Looking forward to whatever it may bring!

    Thanks again!
