1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

This ruf is going to be an acquired taste

900 and H-shifting all the way, in every car, except for cars that have only paddles.

Is 8.03 achievable with "old" tarmac and street 90s, then?

  7. With semis on an optimal track you can go under 7:30, lol...

2 attempt = 8:22 (old+90') *btw old grip can be 86%-91%, did my time on 90%
Highly unlikely, I can shave maybe ~10sec, not more, after multiple attempts, or maybe some alien can do it:rolleyes:
#William maybe you can try it?:D

I bet i have to adapt my driving to suit this car because the best i can do atm is just somewhere 2:39.4xx in spa@ruf .. 4s slower than yours o_O Also i hardly get the signal when i about to lost grip in some corners make thing even harder

  16. 2:39.4 is a decent time at Spa, Lazybug. Just bear in mind that Hany's 2:35.5 was a second quicker than the RSR Live WR at the time! My opinion on the matter is that the Ruf CTR Yellowbird is not the car for my style of driving. Maybe that will change in the future, but for now I have better things to do!

Yeah i know this RUF@SPA WR is somewhere 2:35 before reset but just i a little bit hard to accept that i am at least 4s slower than aliens in this combo .. you know thats mean 40s in a 10 laps race.
I will try again till i improve for at least another 2s .. i can live with 2s slower but 4s ?? No way :D

  18. Count yourself lucky. I am running 2:22s and 2:23s @ Spa in the GT3 cars at the moment, and I am 5 or 6 seconds slower than the aliens. I have absolutely no idea how they get them to shift that quickly, because I feel that I am doing a pretty good job of it myself!

I haven't done a time on spa since the reset, but I take most of those records with a huge grain of salt. Most use auto blip, auto clutch and paddle shifter not H-Shifter.

I would like to start a group that drives the car properly and we could compare our times.

  20. I have done a total of three laps at Spa in the Ruf CTR Yellowbird, and my best lap was a 2:44.3  It was done with manual clutch and H shifter, and I am not ashamed to say that it was rubbish! :D
