1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

This ruf is going to be an acquired taste

You would be wrong if you think that the setup is the only magic there :p

He would be wrong if he thinks that setup is magic at all there ...

And to finish my ranting about car physics - found what I expect to be a proper behavior but solution is weird a bit - full tank of fuel.

    btw - beautiful lap Hany.

Lol. I'm joking with him. I was on a server during the wekend when someone asked him what he made for being that fast. He replied "It's magic", hence my post :p

I must admit, using a lot of negative camber at the front feels unrealistic in the ruf but its the fastest way in ac.

When trying out this combo I instantly thought about this vid. Do only I think it would be cool to have proper snow/ice physics, a nice track and RUF with studded tyres?

Am I the only one without the braking balance issues? I can certainly hear the threshold braking screechhing noises of the tires (not really locking). No aids, of course.

I like the default (61) balance for hooning
    For laptimes ~63

    Seems that you are.

My home brewed nixim mod is almost expired so I would say that my issues with braking is related to this rather than car physics.

  16. Default is a bit too far rearward for laptimes when you're driving at the limit. It's ok, but more stability is usually better.

  17. Definitely not. I too feel very comfortable with the brakes.

BTW, I just did a laptime at Snoopy's v1.1, with the default car as you load the game, asphalt on optimum, semis and everything... I managed to post an 8.03. I know it can be improvd by at least 5 seconds, here and there, and particularly a very hairy "two-off" moment I had at Kesselchen), but it's still a very quick lap (for me, anyway). I could NEVER do 8.05 as the claimed record with a less grippy tarmac and lesser tires.

Although I don't want to jump into conclussions until we get the laser scanned version, I'd appreciate if some of you could post your laptimes.

You must do that laptime on slow track and with 90 tires + much oversteer

  20. and 900 degrees rotation ;)
