1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    I'll buy whatever they release, regardless. I would like some older stuff like Group C, GTO, etc and new ones such as the M6 GT3 and the new Ford GT GTE.

    Guys seriously, why do we need to turn every other thread a few days before expansion release into a personal wishlist thread. There's a wishlist thread, a sticky one, and you just keep on posting on and on and on. It's childish and selfish. All I hear is 'I want' ..... 'I want....'

    new ford GT + GTE would be phenomenal...and i do think its coming whenever forza's deal expires (i assume they have some kind of exclusivity there, could be wrong)

    No it's not, it's just a friendly discussion, call it pub chat. I don't see anyone shouting as you state I want, just casual pondering and general car chit chat. I find it more childish someone trying to be forum God posting their disapproval. You could just ignore threads you don't like you know.

    Not seen BRM posted before. They sure did make some lovely motor cars. Awesome sounding engines as well. I was at the Autosport show a few years back and saw a P115. The owner let me have a nose about. Totally stunning in the flesh even if it is like sitting in a tin can :)

    Being a touring car fan, it would be nice if there were a few more of those, since we only really have 4 (well 5 if you count the FIAT Abarth Cup car).

    I would assume the Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500 would be considered. I would love to see KS's take on a supertourer (without doubt my fav touring car era).

    I know you asked about cars, but I would like a "small" track for us to play with, like Cadwell Park with as many configurations as possible.

    I do some racing with GT4's on this type of track on Project Cars and is so much fun... but I miss the Assetto Corsa feeling.

    That thread asks for which car is a must for AC, name 1 or 2 only. I interpreted this thread as the next pack, collectively or themed thus my reply being a hot hatch dream pack. I could of left it at just that but I felt more detail covering the 70s/80s/90s and modern was relevant. In contrast, the next poster did exactly that and requested more 70s/80s and 90s cars and didn't go in to as much detail.

    Granted they could be seen as similar but I interpreted them differently, one specific cars and the other collectively as a pack or theme.

    Maybe because it was started in 2013 and OP was talking about creating a mod(s). What you will see if you will go through random pages is that threads like this one end up there as it's the only way to keep the forum clean from countless wishlist threads. Yes this thread is a wishlist. It doesn't matter if you say "I want to see car x" or "I'd like to see car x", it's the same thing in the end. Countless posts on what people would like to see.

    But yeah to you it's different so carry on, it will be merged with the one I linked anyway. Like any other wishlist thread.
