1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Just watching my videos from when I went to spa in 2013 - I'm really hoping the sound is right, I don't know how to really describe it but I noticed when I was there that when under breaking (I assume during downshifts) they tended to make a "grinding" or a grrrrr noise - I really hope that makes it in as it makes them sound so much more mechanical and beefy.

    Actually, back then it was nothing more than a rain light.

    Just with the new V6 Hybrids it works as a warning light as well for the following cars, due to the sudden deceleration when the MGU-H (or K?) disconnects.

    you sure it was 2013 formula ? that rrrr noise could be blown diffuser that was banned in 2012 (i think) .. awsome sound ..

    About the sound: Yes, it sounds similar to the Lotus Exos S1.
    But there's no Lotus Exos S1 in real life so what car/engine did Kunos use for recording the sounds for the Lotus S1?
    I don't know, maybe some guys here know.
    Actually these sounds are a bit older I guess.
    I've been 3 times at Maranello at the Ferrari Museum and back in 2013 I drove the F1 Simulator
    (which was Assetto Corsa at Monza with the F138) and the sounds were actually the same as the sounds in this trailer.

    Actually I don't really care because this sound is by far the best F1 V8 sound I've heard across all racing games I've played over the last 10 years.

    Off throttle "diffuser blowing" was banned half way through the 2011 season. For 2012 the regs specified exhausts ending behind the centre of the rear wheels, as they are now.

    Which is quite funny as this red pack has zero interest to me (apart from Red Bull Ring) and the Jap pack was the pack I was the most excited about :) Will still buy to support Kunos.

    Ohhh, at least I'm right. On Monday I told you this approximation (s. above). So F138 will come true, FXX K and 488 GTB are also "red" and again I'm screaming out for the 488 GT3/GTE.

    Yep exactly, there is no way Kunos can please everyone. If I was game designer, we would have Subaru, Nissan, Honda, Lotus and Renault racing at Sebring, Adelaide, Monaco and Long Beach. Probably most people's worst nightmare of a racing game hahaha :)

    I agree, although The RedBull Ring and Aventador SV are enough to warrant a purchase. I just hope that the latter feels (and sounds) better than the Gallardo.
